  7. Between 1st and 6th would be neutral correct? From looking at your picture again looks like all but 1st has been ground down. Sorry for making this difficult I'm just having a hard time understanding.

  9. I'd also be interested in trades. I need a stock radiator, adj timing plate, lighter flywheel, OEM stock polished wheels, FAT bars and clamp, used vito or wiseco 65mm pistons in good usable shape, really anything that will catch my interest. Just let me know what you have.
  10. Was curious if I could mod my shift star myself. I was comparing a OEM to a modded star and it looks like something I can do. Anyone on here done there own shift star mod? I have also talked with a few banshee guys who told me they modded there own timing plate to advance it 4* how hard would something like this be to do? Anyone have any pictures of there self modded timing plate?
  11. Vito's pistons are Wiseco's. Only different that I have found about them is the intake ports are larger. Wiseco and Vito's pistons are very good pistons. Cant go wrong with either. If you want to sale ither set PM me and I'll buy them. Post a picture and maybe one of us on here can tell you exactly what piston you have.
  12. I have two like new Maxis Razr tires. They are 4 ply 22x11x9 no holes or plugs. I rode these tires twice at the Badlands here in Indiana. I paid $150 for these through rocky mountain. I'll sale for $95 plus shipping and paypal fees. I will trade for a nice set of stock Yamaha wheels.
  13. So my cylinders have been bored .030 over? .040 equals 1mm over correct?
  14. I really like the ITP GNCC or ITP HD tires. Both very long lasting tires. But if your looking for something not to aggressive I would just replace with OEM tires.
  15. Yea, I have read mixed feelings about these pistons. Some will say the pistons are great while others say to stay away. I was reading just last night where a guy said he only had 3 hours on his shee and one of the Namura pistons let go and fucked up his case. So IDK what im going to do. Maybe run them till winter or just suck it up and rebuild it right.
  16. From reading up on this forum Vito's pistons are Wiseco just with the intake ports opened up. Like I said I bought my shee with the Namura pistons already installed. If I was to have built this engine I would have bought Vito's or wiseco pro lites. To be honest im kinda scared to run the these pistons now. I have a brand new crank and rods and I would hate to screw them up because of cheap pistons. Anyone have a set of Wiseco or vito pistons they wanna sale? The top of my pistons say 0.75 so I'm guessing that is how much it has been bored over correct? Stock bore is 64mm so where would I be at with 0.75 over?

  18. I have a brand new stock blaster crank shaft that literally has 3 hours run time on it Id like to sale. After a full rebuild my intake piston skirt failed (broke) and busted a hole in the crank case. I paid $260 through the dealer for this crank. I also have the rod bearings I would through in if you wanted them as well. $85 shipped plus 3% for paypal fees.

  20. Go back and read my post again. I'm talking about reusing the rings my piston rings after I replace my base gasket. I'm fully aware I wouldn't lose compression from replacing a head gasket.
  21. Should I hone the cylinder or just leave it be. Will I lose any compression reusing the rings?
  22. One more quick question. My engine was rebuilt in Feb and guessing around 5-10 hours (if that) on the engine. I recently found a leaky head gasket and bought a Vito's topend gasket kit. If I pull the cylinders off to replace the base gasket will I need to buy new rings for my pistons or can they be reused? Cylinder walls and piston skirt look very fresh still.
  23. Thanks for the jetting tips fastbanshee8 Well I do believe I figured out my problem with the right side cylinder. I pulled the head pipe off looking for a coolant leak (cause I was smelling coolant) found water sitting in the head pipe. Looked up into the cylinder and sure enough there was water in there to. My best guess blown head gasket. Is it possible that it could be the base gasket?
