  1. Help me to understand why you were running 110 octane while using 20cc domes?
  2. I just bought a qt of "klotz super techniplate" what are your guys thoughts on this 2stroke oil?
  3. It looks to have a valve in the tip to me.
  4. I didnt kick anywhere near 30 times when I did my test. Maybe 10-15 kicks on each side and I also held the throttle open while kicking. I can't remember if the engine was cold or warm when I did my test.
  5. Here is the tester I use. I got it off ebay about a year ago. Can't remember what I paid for it.
  6. Hmm well then let me ask this. If you went 14 years and was only at 120psi when you rebuilt and I'm at 30 hours and already at 100psi maybe I'm just not checking the compression the correct way. My shee runs like a top and fires right up after 1-3 kicks. I would think if compression was low it would be a bitch to start. So what is the correct way on checking the compression. I have a motorcycle compression tester that I use.
  7. Interesting..... well then maybe I do need new rings and a hone.
  8. Who says I need to save? maybe I have the money sitting in the bank. Anyway my engine was just rebuilt 30 hours ago and from what I read the other day 100psi is fine for my elevation. Wish I could remember where I seen this info. Oh and just because I'm .100 overbore dont mean I can't just hone/deglaze and install new rings as I'm sure my cylinders are still in good shape.
  9. I was going to buy a coolhead for my banshee with 20 or 21cc domes but was told a milled head is just as good at half the price of a coolhead. IMy elevation is around 890 feet. My banshee has a stock head now with 66.5 wiseco pistons. I checked my compression and I'm right at 100 psi on each cylinder. From what I read that is normal compression for my elevation and stock head. I'd like to see 115 to 125 psi on each cylinder as I feel that will give me a nice increase down low. Will a milled head be able to put out the numbers I'm looking for or will I need to go with a coolhead? Again I'm new to 2strokes and really have no idea what I'm talking about.

  11. PM sent I got dibs on the K&N filter pods and Milled head
  12. I'm running a tank now with a mixture of 42:1 and was thinking about trying a tank next at 32:1. Will this mixture be to rich and is 42:1 to lean of a mixture? I have never had to mix oil and gas for an atv before so I'm kinda scared of mixing it wrong. Sure I have done it for a weed eater but jst not an atv.
  13. I'd like to see a few pictures of it first. Thanks for the quick reply.
  14. What does the Milled head do for the banshee? Would I be better off going with a Coolhead VS's a Milled head?
  15. Yea I ordered 27.5 pilots and 300 mains yesterday cause my Shee was jetted when the temps were colder. Now we are seeing 70-80 deg. Where should I put the clips on my needles? I'm also watching a coolhead with 20cc domes on ebay will I have to jet after the coolhead? My elevation is around 880 to 890 feet
  16. I looked on TM Design Works website and I didnt see this case saver anywhere? Do I have to call them to orders this?
  17. Unless you want to run race fuel why dont you just buy a 20-22cc domes? I believe you can run 90-93 octane fuel with them.
  18. I'll be at Haspin on Saturday. I dont reall care for Laruel all that much but it's very close and I really wanna ride my new banshee on some trails.
  19. Damn looks like you guys had a blast. I only live about an hour and a half from the badlands. Just bought by banshee last week and still setting it up to my riding style. Maybe next year I'll join the party.
  20. I keep reading that the Banshee loves +4 on the timing advance
  21. Guys I'm new to the banshee and 2 strokes all together. This I'm sure sounds stupid but how does the ratio numbers work? I was thinking about mixing my gas 42:1 with synthetic golden spectro. The back of the bottle says to mix 12oz into 4 gallions of gasoline. I'm just a little confused on how to mix and how much I should mix any info will be very helpful.
  22. After you removed the TORS did you unplug/cut the black and white wires under the gas tank?
  23. Will the rear rear brake caliper work on a stock banshee?
