  3. I just bought a stock reed cage that has been ported. To me the work looks like it was done fast and by some one who didn't know what they were doing. Then again I have no idea what a good port job would look like. Let me know what you guys think. Also what kind of reeds are on these cages? I know they are dual stage CF reeds but I'd like to know brand are if there any good.
  4. Here is how I got my flywheel off after braking 2 pullers. Trust me cutting the flywheel off is no east task either. Took me 2-3 hours to cut it off, plus I fucked up the stator. After you reinstall the stator torque it to oem spec.

  6. My engine is all stock except for my 65mm wiseco's. I run a true and welded crank. I had a brand new 2004 crank pull apart just like yours. Banshee is known for this. Your bearing was just cheap I bet. I like the OEM bearings but there are better options for higher HP banshee engines. Like AKheathen said if you reuse that crank you need to have the bigend rod bearing checked or replaced. Hell if I was you id replace that entire side, rod and bearing.

  11. I just bought a mull engineering head today. The guy I talked with on the phone really knew his stuff. I was very impressed with the knowledge he had packed in his head. Anyhow there heads look top notch and I can't wait to install it. I'll report what I think about it after its installed.

  16. Having trouble starting my banshee. I have kicked and kicked and kicked and it wont start. I have 118-120 compression on both cylinders, I have spark, cleaned the carbs, and when I pull the plugs out they have fuel on them. Any ideas on why she wont start? I parked it maybe 2 months ago and it would start 3rd-4th kick every time before parked. I can spray mixed fuel into the carb and it still wont fire.
  17. OMG are you kidding me? I respect the matter that you tried yourself but there is no way id ever run them cylinders. Let a pro do the porting man. If you can't afford the porting save your money till you can.

  19. How well do these reeds perform vs the vforce 3 cage and reeds? Can you please add pictures of the other side of the cage? What are the over all condition of these? anything broke? I call dibs for now

  21. I'm looking into buying a set of Boyesen Reeds and Cages for my banshee and was curious on there performance. I'm looking to get the most low and midrange out of my bike as possible. How will the Boyesens perform VS my stock cage with FMF reeds? also is my jetting going to change any after installing Boyesen cage and reeds? Any info will be very helpful. Thanks

  23. There is a 4 or 5 page topic already on this subject. If you would have done a search you would have seen that. Not being a dick just saying. Anyhow I run both 32:1 and 42:1 Klotz super techniplate and Klotz Caster. The banshee does not have a power valve so anything with Caster in it is really going to prolong the engine life.
