  2. My brother has a 400ex with a 416, HC piston, Web cam stage 2, Full HMF exhaust ect. it's fast for a 400 but my almost stock Banshee will take by 5 or 6 lengths every time.
  3. I'm looking to rid my air box and go with a K&N pod like set up on my banshee. I'm not a fan of any K&N filters and rather go with a foam filter set up. I was looking on Toomey's website and seen they have a 2:1 filter kit and I was curious if it flowed better then stock air box or equal to a foam pod setup? I'd like to find foam filter pods for the stock carbs with a set of Outerwear covers but guess I'm not looking in the right place cause I cant see to find this.

  6. Hey guys I'm looking for a set of "great condition" blue, yellow, or white plastics. I'm also looking for any style cool head (for stock cylinders) with 20-22cc domes, If you have a new headgasket to go with that would be great. I really like the NOSS head and the Vito's head just for a little FYI. Last I need a upper right side A-arm. PM me if you have any of this. Thanks, James

  10. My last banshee I had 66mm pistons, trail porting, pro circuit exhaust and no air box lid and I was only at 300 mains and 27.5 pilots. Really think I need to be jetting in the 300 range? That is correct im not running the snorkel.
  11. Damn it I knew I should have waited to order my pilots until I got a reply on the mains. I just ordered my pilots from Vito's guess I can always call him Monday and add the mains. My elevation is around 800 feet.
  12. okay I was thinking I was going to need bigger pilots but wanted to hear it first. I'm also going to make a leak down tester and make sure I dont have an air leak. I don't believe I added any power when I rebuilt it but guess I may have. Removed the boost bottle that was on it when I bought her and added 65mm wiseco pistons. Guys think I should bump my mains up to a 270 or keep them at the 260's?

  15. I did a search before I even thought about starting a new thread and couldn't really find enough info for my current issue. I'm having problems starting my banshee after it has set for a day or two. My engine is fresh and I have loads of compression, my carbs are clean, and air filter is clean. If I shoot a little premix gas into the carbs she will fire right up on the first kick every time. If I let the engine run for 5 minutes then shut it off for a few hours, then go try and start her again she fires back up on its own first kick? Once it's started it idles and runs like a dream. After the engine is warm and I take it down the road it will bog out a little before hitting the power band like it's getting to much fuel. Now I have not been on it that hard yet cause my engine is fresh and only has maybe 2 hours on it tops. I'm running 32:1 klotz super techniplate for break in then will switch back to 40:1. I'm running 260 mains, needle clips are in the middle, stock pilots, A/F screw is out 1.5 turns. My mods are in my sig.

  17. Shaved and re-decked stock head. I never ran this head bought it from a member here and last minuet decided to keep compression stock. $40 shipped plus 3% Alba black nerf bars that were on my banshee when I bought it. There in ok shape still very usable. I went back to OEM nerfs and heel guards. $40 shipped plus 3% 50 or 55 watt chrome lights I bought off a member here. They looking killer mounted on the banshee and are stupid bright! $30 shipped plus 3% Brand new never used YFZ450 ASV brake lever. I bought it for my banshee thinking it would fit and I was very wrong. Paid $75 plus shipping I'd like to get $55 shipped plus 3%
  18. Well I received my OEM-Alba 175w stator today and got it install. Sure enough thats all my spark issue was. Shee fired right up second kick. Before I started kicking again I put a little 2 stroke oil down each cylinder, boy was that smoky when she fired up. Thanks to all of you for your help I appreciate it.
  19. I'm running FMF reeds with stock cage and stoppers. Do I need to run my stoppers? Will I gain anything by taking the stoppers off?
