sure enough the idler hear wobbles like hell. I put it back together like that so I can rip sat. Even if I got the part for inside the gear I still don't have time before sat to put it back together besides today. I'm gonna order the part from fast tonight so I can fix it.
I said ideal all around set up(on a shee), not best all around bike. I think you got the impression I want to turn my shee in to a 4 poke but that's not the case. Sometimes other riders can give you a idea you might not of thought of for some reason.
Does anyone know by chance what size it is or if I can get one at the local hardware store? Just had my second one get lost and I know the fucker was seated all the way. I'd like to be ready to ride this weekend seeing as the woods are great in the fall so I need to get a clip in like 2 days.
I plan on getting front elkas eventually myself. My next big improvement will most likely be carbs. As far as +2 arms and axle, I want them but I'm in CT and ride lots of trails, lots can be tight at times.
Congrats on choosing the shee. The 450 is a torque monster as soon as you nail it but that banshee wail is a way cooler feeling. Not to mention the shee is a way cooler machine, its no secret!
I have all of that other then shocks and carbs. The reason I bring this question up is basically to just get some other thoughts. I feel my shee is well rounded now but there's always room to improve.
I just wasn't sure if the shee spindles and tie rods work with the 450 arms. The guy seemed like he doesn't know exactly what he's talking about. I swear to you he said he races in Philly and he's the fastest down there. I said what motor are you running and he said its stock with a k&N filter. After that I wasnt sure if he knew his shee only has the 450 arms and nothing more
A guy called me looking for some banshee parts. The guy said he wants stock a arms because he has 450 a arms on it and he doesn't like it wide. He says he's willing to swap for my stockers. The thing is that he says the shocks and calipers are stock. Can just the arms be used with the rest of the banshee components? He's supposed to get pics tomorrow so I haven't seen them yet.
I'm racing my buddy sun on a stretch of road about a 1/8 mile. I want to know if I'm better off with my 22 inch klaws or my 20 inch bandits(the ones I think are better). my front sprocket is -1 tooth and the rear sprocket is also -1 tooth.
He wants money but it will be a steal. I can test them out like you said but unless I buy them I don't want to spend the time dialing them in. I need carbs that won't kill my bottom end but will be strong across the board as possible.
The current set up is, 20cc domes, hjr port for t5s with my t5s, +4 timing, rad valves and k&N filter. What do you guys think would be a good choice for power across the board? My buddy offered his 28mm keihin flat slides.
i posted looking for a airfilter and justind574 offered a k&n with precharger. he said they had like 3 rides on them before he switched to pods. he said make me an offer and I offered 40 shipped. I received my filter and precharger asap and they look like they were never used! Id deal with him again without a doubt
I was just curious. I think next year I might do cheetah cub cylinders. For around here my hjr ported cylinders are the fastest thing around but I have this power and wonder how much fun a cub would be. I still have stock carbs, which I think a upgrade to better carbs along with a lockout and higher compression domes would be a good difference. Maybe that would do it for me.
my current motor set up is, standard 20cc domes, welded stock crank, and hjr port for my t5s. Do I only need new domes or does the porting need to be changed? Also what would the difference be and how drastic?
