My pancake bearing is adjusted all the way where the nut will start to come off if I take any more out. I have a new terminator clutch cable also with my clutch adjuster all the way out and its just right but the lever adjuster pops out here and there. Any ideas to help me get the slack out without the lever being adjusted out all the way?

I need a idle gear circlip and also the spacer the clutch basket slideds over(not washer). let me know fellas

I have the feeling the thrust washer behind the basket isn't there. I've had to replace every single bearing and seal on this thing but its almost where it should be so its worth it.

I don't have a over ride or lock up and I'm wondering if its ok to keep the throttle pinned even while I clutch and shift it? I've always let off to clutch and shift then nailed it.

I have a washer between the basket and hub but I'm wondering if a washer should be behind the basket. When you get a neglected bike like I did you run in to missing stuff and when you get the bike like that it makes it harder to know how stuff goes seeing as someone changed stuff before you saw the part ordersl.

One more question Ill ask here instead of start a new thread. When the entire clutch assembly is tight should the basket have some play while all other clutch parts are completely tight(not cushion play)?

I was riding and doing drag races two days ago and I noticed my bike was hitting neutral between third and fourth a bit. Now today I took my side cover off to put. A hinson basket in there and noticed the clip for the idler gear was sitting in the bottom of the side cover shredded. Do you guys think that that idler gear being free cause. The bike to hit neutral between third and fourth on occasion under a heavy load? The clutch basket but was also loose.

I had it apart last month to install new main bearings and welded crank but didn't take the tranny out because it seemed fine under light load.

I had a lot of drag races today and noticed that my bike likes going in to neutral between 3rd and 4th (starting in 2nd). I have kenda klaws out back half worn and my basket cushions are smoked(waiting on hinson cushions to change baskets), do you guys think between wheel spin and that basket play it can make hitting neutral easier or am I shifting too fast?

That's shitty I bought a hinson basket and pancake bearing a few weeks ago. Alex told me the cushions were worn but the back plate was smoked. The back plate is 20 new and for the basket price and condition other then back plate I can't complain. Over all my parts were good but if you sell someone something you need to be clear on descriptions and always communicate back to the buyer(obviously). better luck next time

In the same current issue there's some pikes peak bikes and one is a YFZ450 chassis with banshee motor. They said something like it makes good use of the powerful engine. I wouldn't buy the mag because its not worth buying but I look at all atv mags when I grocery shop. The only thing a 400ex is good for is going slow! Haha

Dirt wheels isn't a atv riders magazine, its a NEW atv riders magazine. Why is all the feature quads brand new models every month? Where's all the banshees, 250R's, tecates, etc? I like 2 stroke powerbands and always have. I don't care for smooth power bands as I ride to feel that nasty banshee power abruptly kick in. I like roosting around and the only racing I do is dragging on dirt and asphalt. I can see how someone would choose a 4poke for Mx or gncc but I don't race in those events and I want the bike with the most fun/nasty motor, the fuckin banshee!

my cousin (ctxbanshee) has 18cc domes and we need to set him up with 20cc domes, maybe 21cc. His build is almost done so get at me guys Ill take pics if needed but the 18cc domes are mint. WE NEED DOMES ASAP!

I just bought some small stuff from quickshee, the price was half of what I expected, he sent it out right away and he's great with communicating!

The spot in waterbury is on thomaston Ave. There's a park across the street from docs Harley Davidson, you'll see a parkinglot with a little bridge to get in the park. Unload at that parkinglot, go over the bridge and up the hill behind the park on tp the rail road tracks. Go left down the tracks and explore the trails!
