i use a dremmol with a cutting wheel then round the corners with a sanding wheel, but i would say a rotozip is the best way if ya have one

dont use injector oil in it, i have no problems with the klots benoil with pump gas amsoil is fine but not the injector oil id dtick with what the old owner ran

the timing shouldnt afect what octane ya run, its all in the dome size or compression,150 or lower pump gas, 150 id run a 50/50 race to pump, over 150 race fuel all the way

i'd do another compression test, mine was the same way, the right side was detonating cause i didnt use high enough octane because the dick that i bought it from didnt tell me it had 19cc domes and needed to run at least a 50/50 race - pump gas i just ran 89 and it was done in about 10 minuts. sounds to me like it might need a rebuild, just my .02 thow good luck with it

i dont know of any year that came with a white shroud either, what makes you think its stock? somebody could very easily order a miar or other replasement shroud in any color they wanted

i agree with nyuk, id check craigslist instead, the seller has no feedback at all and once you pay for it your stuck with it. if your close enough to go pic it up why dont ya get ahold of the seller and go check it out before biding. if you want to buy a good shee ill sell mine for 2700 but im in ny. its all new motor top to bottom .040 over vitos power pistons cool head 22cc domes dune/trail ported fmf fatty pipes pro circut silencers dyna fs ignition new crank most importantly its got a boost bottle,lol not even 3 hrs on the rebuild this thing rips, plus i got a shitload of extras, carbs cables cases jugs pipes silencers tranny etc

well not to sound like a dick, but my shee is all modded out and im runnin stock pilots with 320 mains and dont have any probs. with the 25 pilots, my shee also was doing what yours is when i rebuilt it i put used carbs on it that i got off ebay and the seller ended up taking all the jets out of em, i put in the mains and pilots, but never even thought about the choke jet. after fuckin with my new motor for 3 days i decided to clean the choke jet, but it wasnt there, put a choke jet in it problem solved, to make a long story short check the choke jet

ya 93 is fine with 22,s thats what im runnin and i got 140 compression on ported jugs no problems so far is your top end new? i want to see what other people got for compression with the 22cc domes, my motor is new maybe 2 hrs on it

just get it done and give it a slight hone just to be sure, im pretty sure a quick hone wont hurt anything they gotta be honed after a bore job anyways. just my .02 thow

like it says i need a stator for a 96 shee, i would rather it be on a plate with pickup coil but ill buy just the stator please include a pic and ohm res. test results im not trying to spend alot on a used one i can get brand new on ebay for 100 bucks thanks

well this is how i did mine last week after my rebuild and it runs great. start it let it run at different rpms for about 5-7 minuts not reving it more than 1/2 throttle, let it cool for about 10 minuts checked to be sure all bolts were still torked ran it thru another 5-7 minut cycle let it cool, check tork again ride it around the yard for bout 10 minuts in the lower gears1-3 occasionally opening it up only like a quick blip to check response, then i let it cool again and ride it as i normaly do of course not as hard as i wanted to but i was into it pretty good. i just went somewhat easy for the first hour or so of ride time, its probly got about 2 hours on it now and i beat the shit out of it, no problems. make sure your jetted for the temp though. let us know how it goes for ya.

like the title says im looking for a set of flat track tires for the shee, pretty much for road riding, lookin for rears for 9 inch rim unless they are on rims. could be only rear or all four front and rear. send a pm if ya got something i might want,thanks

ya dont use any sealant on it if you got a stock head ive got a couple head gaskets brand new, came with gasket kit when i rebuilt motor and a second one came with the vitos top end kit, pm me if ya want one or both

this is just what came to my mind but check it, i put used carbs on my shee and it would only run on the right cylinder till i reved it about 10 times then the left would fire. i cleaned and cleaned many times then i read something about the choke jet, turns out the used carb bowl didnt have a choke jet in it! put on a different bowl with the choke jet in it problem solved! make sure you have the correct bowl on the left side and be sure there is a choke jet in it or clean the choke jet. just another option to try, good luck

it shouldnt matter what year it is, im pretty sure there all the same, but i have 1 off my 97 no lid or boots to the carbs though. i cant put pics up im retarded with computers,lol but it looks just like an airbox, send a pm if ya want it

well as if that question isnt stupid enough, ive got another dumb one- who runs a stock banshee anyways? lol i dont know anybody who even owns a banshee with no mods. but to be serious the craptor would probly win in a stock race. i know my buddys all have raptors predators and 450s and i smoke em all with the shee
