Ok, here it is. Its all done other than now that Ive got it done I hate how the old guages look so Im ordering new guages and toggle switches. Ive gotta sit down and add up the reciepts before I can give you a final price. I was hoping it was going to be 8500 but I KNOW Im over budget on this one so Ive gotta see just how far. I did this one with kind of the intent that I would sell my boat and keep this one so I could justify my big boat, so anything that I didnt like or thought I could make better I have. The new guages arent going to help the budget but they just look like shat compared to the rest. Just looks unfinished. But now that Im headed out of town for awhile the last thing I need is 4 boats like I have now and I honestly dont think my MB will sell for what I would want right now anyways so Im just going to sell this one. The boat was titled as an 89 when I turned the title over to the marine board to be transfered to my name. It came back titled as an 87??????? Ive gotta try and figure that out even though Im sure they are gonna tell me to pound sand. The trailer is titled as a 89. Im not sure Why the date was changed on the boat. its been awhile since I messed with that plug, but as I remember they are just pinned in there. If you look close I think you can take a pick and unlock the pin from inside the connector and pull it out. If you can make sure you make a good diagram of where each color goes so you get them back in the same one..

If your pipe was full of fuel so is the motor. Take the plugs out and set them on the bench (DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN THE PLUG CAPS) put your finger over one of the plug holes sealing it off, and kick the bike over. Id bet that it spews fuel out. If it does you will need to turn the bike upside down and get all the fuel out. BE CAREFUL.

New sleeves wont just slide into place, but Ill let you and your builder sort through that. As far as the strippeh hole goes I think you are on the right track with the repair, but one thing that comes to mind is there isnt alot of additional material to be drilling that hole much bigger without getting that outside edge real thin. If there is enough room by all mean fix it. If it looks sketchy you can clean the threads the best you can with a tap and then cement in a stug in that location. Its not ideal but will probably out live your cylds being that they are going to be 100 over at this point.

Its a dimmple that is used to make it go in, and then stay in while you put the flywheel in. Give it a love tap to seat it and put your flywheel on..

I noticed in a few of your videos your running gas. Are you running gas 1/4 with no pump or alky? I wish pavement was bigger around here because Id like to give it a shot. That being said I can offer much advise on whether a pump is gonna be needed in 660 or not. My first thought is yes, but if it we me, Id use big bowls (maybe even weld 2 together) big needle/seat, big vents, etc in an effort to not run the pump. But if you have to run a pump its not the end of the world. Just make sure the carbs are setup for it, use a good fuel line for the pulse (so it doesnt colapse) and go for it. Its not the end of the world. I would however carry a spare pump.
