  2. Yes.. 520/530 are the same roll. Obviously you cant run 520 chain on 530 sprockets but you can go the opposite way. If you are putting a conversion together the offset of the added rear sprocket width wont matter because you can set the motor wherever it needs to be for the alignment. There is an american spec chain that is also the same roll as 520/530 that has the width of the 530..
  3. What are you running that you need 530? Couple things to remember. You can run 530 chain on 520 rear sprocket. If you put a 530 in the rear it will throw off your alignment front to back. If you are running a JJ&A they offer the new style HD hub that the sprocket mounts to the outside that needs no modification to run the 530 stuff without alignment issue. Just some things to think about if your going to make the jump to the big stuff..

  12. Dont be a bitch.. Work on the bike yourself! If you dont have the confidence to work on your bike then you may as well just sell it. You will pay thousands over the life of your bike if you gotta take it to the shop everytime it needs something.. Go slow, pay attention, make little drawings as to where things go, take pictures, ask questions, BUY A MANUAL, you will have no problems these things are AMAZINGLY simple!
  13. 927 @ 20:1.... The amount of oil made no affect on HP (actully increased in some areas) until the ratio was greater than 20:1.. If you are running less oil than that and then decide to go to running more oil the bike will be lean because there will be less fuel and opposite if you go from 20:1 to say 100:1 (yes you can run that if you have the right oil) I really like the additional oil in the motor for multiple reasons.
  14. I didnt watch the entire thing. Get a set of calipers and measure the bore of the cylds.. Then get the numbers off the top of the pistons.. see if they are infact the proper pistons for the bore.
