Looking to have my titled frame powdercoated but dont know if pc will cover the VIN. If so, is there any way to preserve it? I know alotta dudes pc frames so someone should know. I havent gotten that many answers lately, so someone help!

Thanks for all the input. Going to be taking shit apart today for rebuild. I might try the zerk thing, but dunno about taking the bearings apart. I will definitely use anti-seize lube in the axle spacer.

when i see/hear a banshee with stock pipes it makes me sad, almost as sad as the bike sounds.

Instead of destroying the shoutbox i figured id start a thread about it. I need some new rear axle bearings, and i cant seem to find any reason "All Balls" or "Pivot Works" are any better than eachother. This may be opening a can of worms, much like "what oil is best" but thats not what im asking. My question is though, has anyone had any luck with either brand, or are oem bearings the best way to go? Most of the reviews i read say they do not last and either brand is junk.

Sounds about right. Depending on your weather temperature, if your like some of us in the cold, i might bump your main and pilot up a size or two. so 160 - 165 and a 50 - 55 pilot? maybe? let us know how it works out.

if you sprayed it down/washed it, and water got into any connections itll run shitty or not start. try disconnecting the plug and wires that comes off the stator, and back on the cdi box too. Take a compressor and blow em all out, then dab some dielectric/anti-corrosion type grease on all your plugs and connections. i had this problem, and i havent had an issue yet after greasing up the plugs n shit. hope it helps, ec.
