Cant go wrong with asking a question about 2 stroke fuel, better to get all your questions answered. If it make you feel better, someone asked me if i could just use Diesel fuel in my 2 stroke jetski since it has oil in it. Now that is a questionable question. I usually put the oil in the jug first so the oil mixes evenly when you fill it up.

I have a set of Graydon pro series nerfs i will do $65 shipped for, I would go for the Pro Pegs though. Wish NYUK would have responded to my wanted ad on the pro pegs before I spent 200 on a set of AC pro peg nerfs on ebay. ha ha

Looking for a set of AC Pro peg nerfs, pref the black line. I am trying to eliminate the heal guards with a full set of nerfs and AC is the only company I have seen that have the heal guard built in.

I will stick with the pods then. Can I still trail ride and ride in the rain if they have outerwares? I am not often riding through high water or in the rain, but sometimes have the urge to mess around in the snow.

Ride a lot better? Is there really much to installing these or am I better off just spending the money on after markets. I have a J arm bike so odds are I wount be going +2+1 unless I upgrade the J arms which Stellar machine can do for me.

I know this has prob been asked, but I could not find much with the search function. Apparently a lot of people do the YFZ 450 front shock upgrade due to the pinned thread on how to install them. Is this a good upgrade for dune and overall use. My shocks are a little rough and old and need some work. Figured might as well just replace them. Not looking for anything too serious. Any input would be great. Thanks guys.

Took my first ride on the Banshee tonight. Really this is the first time I have rode a 2 stroke quad. Did a little country crusin and was very surprised with the amount of power, caught me a little off gaurd when the power band hit. Will have to say I am very happy with my purchase. I got on my buddies YFZ450, has a lot of power but not as fun to ride as the two stroke in my opinion.

I will just start buying from you, keeps the money in Kansas. Thanks for the input. I need a couple of springs, front shock bearing kit, and exhaust clamps if you stock those.

I just noticed that I have a billet timing plate on mine. Has the degrees marked in it and all and is at 0 degrees right now. Should I leave it there or advance it to +4. Will this change the reliability? I understand the basics by any info would be great, noob here.

I hear ya, I am only missing one right now. I will prob just pick a few up from Yamaha and use these as back ups. Guess you cant trust ebay any more in the quality of a product.

Any one know what size springs the Pro Circuit head pipes use, I am missing a couple.

So i picked up my Banshee last night and the guy I bought if from had a blaster under a tarp in his driveway. Not sure the year yet, plastics are blue and everything looks to be in great condition except for the fact that the motor is in a box. Told me we could take it for free! Buddy of mine is heading to pick it up tonight to see if we can rebuild for cheap or figure out whats wrong with the motor. Are these things worth parting out or better sold running? First ride on the banshee last night too, I am used to riding 4 strokes and this thing was crazy fast! I understand why they arent good beginner bikes, i was surprised. I am sure It wont be fast enough after I get to riding it a lot. You know how it goes.

Maybe on your way out there you could swing through Manhattan KS on I -70 and pick a few of us up. I have been trying to talk these guys into riding once this winter down at Little Sahara. They said too cold and want to goto glamis, just need a little motivation. Ha Ha.

Just curious, how much of a compression difference will you notice when checking it on a cold motor compaired to a warmed up motor? Never checked before, but have heard there is a difference on my 550 jetski. Wasnt sure if it is a big difference or not.
