Smell Coolant After Running Hard
So Cal Suspension replied to JoeStar85's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I dunno, I guess I've never heard of anyone actually putting coolant in those things. Like I said, half the people don't even have those bottles. I rode glamis in the middle of the summer for hours on end with no coolant puking out. If it only happens when you're hammering it real hard, I wouldn't worry about it... You could always richen up your jetting a bit, and it'll help with the heat. -
Smell Coolant After Running Hard

That overflow tank is intended to be empty all the time. It's simply there to catch, well, "overflow". Half the guys here don't even run coolant overflow bottles. Did you tell Kevin that you were filling the bottle with coolant prior to riding? -
Haha, you get the award for the smallest goddamn picture in the world.

Where to find these lights?
So Cal Suspension replied to joey83's topic in General Banshee Discussion
If there's enough interest I'll run another bunch of them. I sold about 250 sets, then stopped advertising them. The company that does my electronics was bought out, and they want a minimum order of 250 retrofits at a time. It's a serious chunk of change to shell out at once. -
I can build you a like new rear shock for $174.00 shipped. The shock will be fully rebuilt with all new seals, a one piece billet rebuildable seal head, and will be revalved for your weight and riding style. Send me a PM if you're interested. I have plenty in stock.

The OEM lights will work fine on DC current. Since you have DC, you might consider getting some HID kits for the OEM light housings. H6M is what you'd want. You'll get about 3 times the amount of light.

I LOL'd. Should have added "...2 year old granddaughter out on christmas morning for giving her a puppy when I said no pets..."

Let's not turn this shit into a casserole thread, ladies.

Walmart. -
Oh nice, I've hiked Painted Canyons off of Compass rd before. I know right where it's at. It's a long lonely dirt road if I remember correctly that frequently gets washed out during flash floods. Bring your floaties and rubber duckies!

I didn't even click on this stupid ass link, but I regularly evict, foreclose, and kick deadbeats like this guy the FUCK out of my properties on a DAILY basis. This thread has GOT to be a fucking troll. If this is literally your mentality, Nick, please, I beg of you, please rent one of my properties, don't pay your rent, and see how long you last alive in that house. The economy isn't effecting me... In fact, the shittier the economy gets, the more money I make. I buy houses from deadbeats who knowingly bought homes they couldn't afford in the first place. You can't pay your bills? Fuck off to fuckity fuck off land and eat shit the whole way there. I have kicked families with 3 children to the fucking street before, because the dad is too busy sitting at home watching his 60" plasma TV instead of paying me my fucking rent for 3 months. I EXPEDITE evictions intentionally to make it as difficult as humanly fucking possible to find another place, before I'm sitting at your door with a marshal locking your dumb ass out with a big ass fucking chain. I can't believe these people who do evictions and serve foreclosure notices don't arm themselves. This shit happened a few months ago, and the pussy ass killed himself before law enforcement had the pleasure of doing it for him. Keep being a leech, and you deserve nothing other than being murdered. POINT BLANK. (enjoy the pun, bitches)

Um, something needs to be done about this shit.

What to do with rear suspension?
So Cal Suspension replied to traxx2003's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Thanks guys. I've had outstanding results rebuilding, revalving, and respringing the stock rear shock. The special I was running for the 4th of July is over, but the normal price is only $218.00 plus shipping. The only reason I can offer these shocks for such a great price is simple: I do a TON of them, and I'm set up to do them right the first time, every time. The stock rear shock is actually a very good shock. In order to get a shock with compression and rebound adjustment, you'd be looking at a minimum of a stage 4 Elka. I see valving accuracies right in line with top of the line Elka's on the dyno. If you're interested, shoot me a PM with your weight, riding style, bike setup, and your riding terrain, and I can get you set up with a properly set up shock and get you back in the dirt. -

This was/is a common problem in the off road industry. There are two rules of success in life. #1 is don't tell people everything you know. -
Shave your fucking face you goddamn hoodlum. The cheese from your tacos al pastor gunna be all up in that bitch.

Quite possibly, but if so, I don't agree with it one bit either. Just as Rubberdick said above, by that logic anyone who drinks one beer in their life should never be allowed to have a drivers license, health insurance, medicare, and the right to carry. Let's face it, there are probably more crimes committed because of alcohol than weed. Last time I checked, you don't see stoners getting all "stoned" and going out and starting fights, beating their wives, killing innocent families on the road, or smoking to the point at which they need emergency medical care (Not possible, btw). They sit in their living room with their bong, a bag of cheetos, and season 4 of Ren and Stimpy on DVD. Tax alcohol 1000% and use the money to give to innocent families who's lives have been ruined by alcoholics.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind having a conversion in there. I think there will be a market for them soon.

Praise baby Jesus. Fucking shit is getting annoying to see three or four threads every fucking day started about this shit. -
Adam, sorry bro, but I gotta rip this post apart. "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which published the study, estimated that 34,833 people in 2001 died from cirrhosis of the liver, cancer and other diseases linked to drinking too much beer, wine and spirits. Another 40,933 died from car crashes and other mishaps caused by excessive alcohol use." Source: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6089353/ns/health-addictions/t/alcohol-linked-us-deaths-year/#.UCNRzaPwrxg "The economists analyzed traffic fatalities nationwide, including the 13 states that legalized medical marijuana between 1990 and 2009. In those states, they found evidence that alcohol consumption by 20- through 29-year-olds went down, resulting in fewer deaths on the road." Source: http://medicalxpress.com/news/2011-11-medical-marijuana-laws-traffic-deaths.html#jCp "Marijuana has often been touted as one of the safest recreational substances available. This is perhaps true; many reputable scientific studies support the conclusion that cocaine, heroine, alcohol, and even cigarettes are more dangerous to the users health than marijuana. In addition, the celebrated pharmacological properties of cannabis have led thirty-six states to permit its use as a therapeutic drug for, among others, those suffering from AIDS; various painful, incurable and debilitating illnesses; the harmful side effects of cancer chemotherapy, and glaucoma." Source: http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/evidence99/marijuana/Health_1.html "The largest study of its kind has unexpectedly concluded that smoking marijuana, even regularly and heavily, does not lead to lung cancer. The new findings 'were against our expectations,' said Donald Tashkin of the University of California at Los Angeles, a pulmonologist who has studied marijuana for 30 years." Source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/05/25/AR2006052501729.html I highly suggest reading this short article above by the Washington Post. Side note: I was unable to find anythng about a "chenille". Maybe it was a typo, and you meant "chemicals". If that were the case, it is 100% untrue, and documented scientific evidence in the article above proves it as such. Not everyone knows this, but I am a medical marijuana patient. I have been for over two years. I gave up my career in law enforcement to relieve myself of unrelenting, excruciating pain. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2009, and stage 3 colon cancer in 2010 at the age of 26. I was on heavy chemotherapy for 9 months and couldn't get rid of the cancer. I had surgery in August 2011 to remove my colon, rectum, appendix and gall bladder. I had an ileostomy for 3 months and another surgery in December of 2011 to reverse the ileostomy and hook my small intestine directly to my anus. There is NOTHING in this world that could relieve my pain the way MMJ did. To sit on the other side of the fence and tell me that I have to be in pain for the rest of my life, and can't eat a rice krispee treat to relieve my pain, is nothing short of pure and disgusting ignorance. If you haven't walked in my shoes, or an HIV patient's, or an MS patient's, or someone with LEGITIMATE chronic, unbearable pain, then get the fuck out of the conversation. Now, let me address the abusers. Without a doubt, there are abusers. There are abusers of everything. Gambling, sex, porn, cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, and finally, Alcohol: The biggest, and most commonly abused drug in the worlds history). Because some dude in a suit somewhere is telling you it's illegal means it has no benefit to anyone? Find a person who consumes alcohol because it relieves the nausea of their chemotherapy. Show me a cancer patient who takes shots in their living room because the pain of HIV-AIDS is so unbearable that without their shots, they can't function. Show me an MS patient who, without their shots of whiskey, cannot even speak. Show me SOME SORT of medical study showing the medicinal benefits of alcohol. Not the chemicals in wine that may or may not prevent cancer. Show me ALCOHOL. If you can produce that, then show me an alcohol rice krispee treat that you can eat that relieves your unbearable pain in 3 minutes. Something prescription medication could NOT do. How about an alcohol pill? Or maybe an alcohol topical ointment that you can rub on your skin and absorb that way? The complete ignorance in this thread is frightening. It's frightening that the people voting on these issues have ZERO idea what they are talking about. The same people feeding you the bullshit about Marijuana are the same idiots that are legalizing it based on medical and scientific facts, evidence, and proof. Too bad the same can't be said about alcohol. But hey, the "man" says it legal, so it must be better for you.

No you don't. I can get rear springs all the way up to 1300lbs. It would depend on the type of riding you do, but probably an 8.9.
