  1. I wonder if he does anything different than Gary (Sheerider1026). I'd be curios to see side by side pictures and see what's done differently. I've heard awesome things about Gary's transmissions.
  2. I sell JL Engineering swing arms, and stand behind them 100%. Personal issues aside, the guy makes a quality product that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to people. Just saying.
  3. Looks pretty valuable. I'd pay 3000 for that bike easy.
  4. Thanks to everyone who sent in their shocks for this special. 12 BHQ Members and 2 Facebook fans. That's over $250.00 in free work! If you haven't already, like So Cal Suspension on facebook, by Clicking HERE. I will be giving away free stuff on Facebook to BansheeHQ members, and those who have "liked" the page.
  5. I've seen some conventionals close at 3.5ish, but FHA and VA's are lucky to close under 4 right now. Most definitely you'd be paying all of the closing costs, and even buying down your rate to get close to 4. 5 is a pretty good rate right now unless you have a ton of cash to bring to escrow.
  6. I used to do a ton of business in San Jac, but we had trouble finding buyers, so now I avoid it at all costs. We were picking up packages of 8-10 properties in the 2005-2009 range for less than $500k in early 2011 at auction. Certain areas of Hemet, San Jac, and the Morongo area have AWESOME houses, it's just a stretch trying to convince buyers to move to those areas if they're not already from there (if that makes sense). If you like the area, you got a smoking deal. Beaumont is taking the ultimate plunge right now... you couldn't give away houses in Beaumont/Banning right now. I've been sitting on a 2840sqft single story in a 55+ community for almost 9 months. We started at $185k, and are down to $111k, and haven't seen a single offer. There are still some great deals to be had. Sounds like you got one of em.
  7. I bought some "Like new. Silver in color" pegs. I think they were powdercoated silver, because it's very thick. Only one of the 4 bolt holes lined up, but I just drilled new holes in my frame and used self tapping screws. Oh, one of the pegs didn't have a backing plate to bolt to the frame, but it's ok, I just welded it right to my frame. All in all I got a good deal for some silver painted LTR foot pegs labeled and sold as Banshee foot pegs. Shipping was cheap as well. Only 14.99 for a small flate rate box. I'm happy.
  8. PM me all the info you have. I used to do this stuff for a living, and (tooting my own horn), I'm pretty good at it.
  9. Hell, I'll take any kind of head. I don't care if it's cool or not.
  10. If you go to www.photobucket.com you can set up an account there and upload as many pictures as you want. Once they are uploaded view your "Album" and you will be able to copy the code into this thread.
  11. I ended up buying an SD9 today... I was able to shoot one at the range this morning, and since I shot the sw40ve yesterday, it was easy to make my decision. The SD9 is so smooth, that getting back on target is WAY easier than the sw40ve. Just gotta wait my 10 days now. This is my first 9mm semi auto. I have a Taurus 905, but it fires nothing like the SD9, obviously. Pretty excited to get this on the range and see how it does. Does anyone have any preference on ammo? Range and home defense?
  12. I'm bored with my current arsenal, and I'm in the market for a new handgun. Not looking to spend a million bucks, and I shot a S&W SW40VE, and I loved the way it felt. Show me what you've got, and let's make a deal. Keep in mind that the gun needs to be shipped to an FFL dealer in CA, and I will handle all the transfer fees. 10 round mags max.
  13. stack of dimes* Also, they're only 75 bucks shipped now? jesus... http://www.ebay.com/itm/40mm-High-per-oversized-aluminum-radiator-yamaha-banshee-YFZ350-/280879278119?_trksid=p4340.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222001%26algo%3DSIC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D424004922566569669%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D5%26
  14. We'll try it again. No one is going to text you for pictures. If you don't care enough to upload pictures to photobucket, then we are all going to be concerned about how much you actually care about the equipment you are selling... Do yourself a favor and upload the pictures SOMEWHERE. Resize them, and upload them to your BHQ gallery. Until then, no one is going to take you seriously...
  15. Novices installing them. Amateurs could probably get it right.
  16. I wish I could remember who it was who told me to fuck off a while back about these TDR cranks. I said the same shit... "gold rods, gotta be a wang crank" and the cocksucker told me there was no way TDR would sell a wang crank... It's gotta be a wang crank, plain and simple. EVERYONE sells these cranks.
  17. I am, and he's not. Guess who won?
  18. Also, the only shock that will work, I believe is a 2001 Raptor 660 shock, with the remote reservoir. It's 14.38" whereas the banshee shock is 13.63". Spring rates are identical, both stock springs are 5.4 kg/mm.
  19. If you send your stock rear to me before July 11th, I am doing rebuild/revalve and respring of stock rear shocks for 199.99 plus shipping. Includes a full rebuild, revalve, and a custom eibach spring. You won't find anyone else coming remotely close to my price, anywhere. Additionally, if you just want a spring, I can install a spring for $89.00 plus shipping.
  20. Go to www.photobucket.com Create an account Upload images Copy and paste the code.
  21. I forgot about this thread. Yes, shock covers trap all kinds of shit inside the shocks. Moisture and dirt being the two biggest enemies. They also rub all the powdercoat off of the springs, causing the springs to rust, and eventually break. I see it all the time. The key to keeping your shocks lasting long, is to keep them clean. After you're done riding, clean the shocks. While you're riding, the shocks have a special seal on the outside of the seal head called a "wiper". It's ONLY job is to keep shit out of the shock. A good way to tell if something like those are complete bullshit, is go look at race vehicles or buggies, and see if they run them. If you don't see shock covers on race vehicles, don't run them.
  22. I got this PM on June 20th, 2012. I will still totally back this dude. All he has to do is get me a case number. It's not hard. Our case numbers are only 12 numbers...
