  1. I don't really see what's wrong with his post. I mean, the thread title says "mod quad" at the end of it, which would lead me to believe he has a modquad cool head. Secondly, his original post says "ported stock heads". My assumption on that would be "ported stock CYLINDERS", I may be wrong... but I think this is the OP's fault for not elaborating on what equipment he's running.
  2. Agreed. I used to have the hi-revs. Didn't like them one bit.
  3. If you're looking for some PT Mid's. Send a PM to "slacker1bob" on here. He's got a set for sale.
  4. There are tons of Motorhomes that make it out to the beach. Most of them do end up getting stuck, though. Pismo is a good riding, small, but good. My first time riding there was a few weeks ago. The coolest part, for me, was that we were parked 100 feet from the water. The views are something you can't get anywhere else. If you plan on camping, keep in mind they only sell a set number of camping passes, so get there EARLY on Friday to guarantee a camping pass. Someone might correct me, but I believe it's 1000 passes? Pismo is always packed during the summer months, from what I've heard. It was pretty damn busy when I was there a couple weeks ago.
  5. ...soooo....
  6. It will vary depending on what your elevation is. Generally speaking, I have heard you can run as low as 19's on pump gas, if you are at a high elevation. Sea level to about 1500 feet or so, I wouldn't go less than 20's. Just my two cents.
  7. It's two... but should be two hundred. Tyler, can I request a new smiley? I'd like a "facepalm" smiley for threads such as these.
  8. Where are you located? I would suggest using photobucket or a similar site and post pictures. Also, a little tip. Maybe spend some time on the forums, and someone might trust you enough to buy these one day.
  9. LOL, good point. I just figured 50 would be enough that someone would just join on a whim and post up their worthless shit. A new one just popped up... I guess eBay is almost becoming safer than this place....
  10. "GET THE FUCK OUTTA THE WAY, MY SHIT IS ROLLING DOWN THE HILL!!!"
  11. And this is a prime example of why we are all leary of new members who join JUST to sell something...
  12. Do you have a link to the for sale post? EDIT: Found it here. THIS is the reason why you don't buy parts from brand new members without any feedback. You are more than likely going to get burned. I think the for sale section should be closed to members with less than 50 posts... Obviously if you don't have a vested interest, or time invested in this site, you wouldn't think twice about fucking someone over.
  13. Nice bbike, but I've got a question. Why would you join a Banshee forum just to try to sell something completely unrelated to a banshee?
  14. You're retarded. Had you spent 4 seconds and looked through the thread, you would have noticed that he's not selling it anymore. Thanks for yesterday's news, though.
  15. I'm gunna help you out here a little bit since I see you're new. People on this site are VERY leery of new members who immediately post something for sale right after joining. While you bike looks like it's in good shape, the paint on the pipes/silencers looks kinda cheap. I would recommend buying a set of aftermarket pipes and silencers to put on there. A $200-$250 investment will definitely help it sell. Shameless plug. Your asking price is not too far off, depending on what spare parts you have. Maybe detail out what you've got, parts wise, and it might gain some more interest. Also you might want to put a location in your ad, as well as an additional way for potential buyers to contact you. Also consider putting your images DIRECTLY on here, rather than just posting a link.
  16. I'll take the whip mount. PM sent.
  17. Were the pictures the same?
  18. I must have been right...
  19. My guess is it was this guy Americanbanshee. If it is... you will never get your money back. He is a well known scammer, and frequents this forum with tons of different names.
  20. While I have the utmost respect for Chris' opinion (Savage420), I have done the wheel flip, as have a few other members on here. I didn't notice any additional bump steer after doing the flip. I have since changed wheels to a set of Douglas wheels, which, actually have MORE of an offset than the stock wheels flipped. Still I haven't noticed any increased bump steer with the new wheels. Just my opinion. As Chris said, what you do is your own choice. Just my experiences.
  21. Send a message to SLORYDER. I hear through the grapevine that he has the assortment of head gaskets of all different thicknesses...
  22. Jay, this has got to be a joke, right? Didn't you look at that username? It's americanbanshee... militarybanshee... 421cubs... ihate4strokes... the stupid fucking walmart headlight guy... same guy... same scams...
