  1. Those are some killer shocks guys... total setup for 500 bucks... can't beat that.
  2. Just the o-rings... Um, well, depending on how long it sat on top of the piston, you might need to just pull the jugs off and see if any made it past the rings.
  3. Oh, well if you have street legal registration, insurance, and a valid driver's license, why didn't you advise the officer of that at the time he was writing the tickets? You're forgetting your own story... YOU walked up to HIM, after you lied to him. After which, you proceeded to admit to everything. You really went to court over a $10 fix-it ticket? If you showed up with valid registration, you're not winning the case; You're complying with the law... LOL. I also find it hard to believe that the officer was shocked. I'd hardly blink over a registration ticket. So you're saying the officer never asked you for your identification? I think what you're failing to realize, is he did not write the ticket for no OFF ROAD registration. It was because you were operating a vehicle on a public road, with no valid motor vehicle registration. Also, if you had insurance on the ATV at the time, why wouldn't you give that information to the person who's truck you hit? You do know that if you show up to court, and show proof of insurance at the time of the incident, the judge will question the fact that you never informed anyone you had insurance on the ATV.
  4. Come back! We miss all your stupid bullshit!!

  5. Haha, this thread has epic written all over it.
  6. If it runs fine with the roost boost, I'd just leave it there, it's not going to hurt anything. And no, you won't be able to sell it. LOL. It was one of those cheap ass timing curve bullshit things.
  7. Search the for sale section. There are a few sets of pipes for sale in there. Lots of good deals going on right now. Pretty much everyone here is willing to ship, as well.
  8. I understand the transfer case will sit lower, I know that. Still seems like a steep angle to me. Also, I can tell those heims are too small. I've been building suspension for many years. Those should be atleast 1 1/4" heims. I believe what I see is 3/4" heims. I could be wrong... but I know they aren't 1 1/4". I totally commend your buddy on undertaking a project like that. That's a lot of hard work without having the proper tools. Looks like he did his research and triangulated everything nicely. Just a few couple hiccups I could see in the near future that might be worth correcting now, rather than waiting til something breaks and it ends up costing a lot more, or maybe getting someone hurt.
  9. In all seriousness. I would do mods in this order. Pipes, Pro-flow adapter with filter or pods, Reeds, head (rechambered stock, or cool head), then porting, then light it on fire.
  10. You could always light it on fire...
  11. Wrong section, Homie. There is a wanted section for these kinds of posts.
  12. Haha, Elka knows all about using butter on banshees.
  13. I don't want to piss on your parade, but do you honestly think a judge is going to just throw them all out because he didn't pull you over? You admitted to the officer that you were riding the bike, and that you hit the vehicle. What halfway sane judge wouldn't take that as an admission of guilt? We nail hit-n-run suspects all the time, at their home, days later. There is nothing here that is any different. Whether you showed back up and were a man about it, the fact of the matter is, you initially lied to the officer about it. You're lucky that charge didn't get thrown on there as well. For $450 bucks, I would save yourself the embarrassment in court, and just pay the fines and move on. Again... not trying to be an ass, but I don't see how you could possibly believe that you're not guilty? Based on a technicality? If you wanted to take it to trial, I suppose you might get ONE juror who is on your side, but when it's you, the cop, and the judge, you will never win. The cop is going to say "yeah, I questioned him at his house, his quad was sitting right there, he lied to me, and then showed up 15 minutes later admitting he did it". You are correct that hearsay is not admissible in court, however an admission to an LEO is admissible in court. You're not going to win a hit and run case. That's a felony around here. I wouldn't run the risk of the judge upping the fines in that courtroom, and just pay the $450 and be done with it...
  14. Go to photobucket.com, and create an account. You can upload and manage your pictures there. Just copy the "IMG" link to your post. They will be full size.
  15. Butter dissolves carbon, I hear.
  16. I see a two major problems there... One... pinion angle's on both diff's. There is no way you are going to get U-joints to last more than about two minutes without changing that pinion angle by like 30 degrees. Second, what size heims are those? they look minuscule. I wouldn't run anything smaller than 1 1/4" for something that high off the ground, with that much weight being thrown around.
  17. I know the 450's use a two piece pivot tube, so those won't work. I think the issue you will have with using a different bike's swinger, is the alignment of the sprockets. You can find used aftermarket swingers for pretty cheap. They pop up here quite frequently, just watch the for sale section, or post a wanted ad.
  18. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Keihin-Float-Bowl-O-Ring-PJ-PWK-35-36-38-KTM-CR-KX-RM-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ190398367376QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories This dude's got three left. I've actually purchased from him before. He's legit. Edit, just noticed you said 33's... those are for 35's... They might be the same?
  19. All sets are sold. Thanks guys. They'll be going out monday morning.
  20. Oh man... that guy's instructions are scary.... Good find! I'll keep that guys instructions for reference... lol
  21. Is there a chance you've got a fuel line clogged? Maybe you had some crap in the tank and when you were moving stuff around a little chunky got lodged in a fuel line? I'd pull both fuel lines off the carbs, turn the gas on, and see that it flows freely.
