  1. Looks fuckin' awesome man... You just dabble in a little bit of everything, don't you? lol.
  2. There's quite a few members in KY... you should get some good hits on this. Do you have a title for the bike?
  3. Tell ya what... run your bike without pipes, and let me know if it goes boom...
  4. Here are the links to the other two threads you started about this exact topic, just in case you lost them... http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=134649&st=0&p=1163937entry1163937 http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=134756&st=0&p=1164608entry1164608
  5. Very good possibility! Lmao!
  6. That was my best guess... I can't understand what he's asking... oh well...
  7. A filter is NOT a filter... You change your air filter out for more reasons than just convenience. As anyone with half a brain, and has ever seen a wrench before, knows... on an internal combustion engine, air+fuel+compression=boom. The more air you can flow through the carbs, the more fuel you can suck in. The more fuel and air = more boom. So... running pods, or the pro-flow setup, will INDEED increase power, regardless of what this guy says. HOWEVER, you have to be able to get that exhaust out of there, as fast as possible. That is where the right intake/pipe combination becomes crucial. If you only ride in sand, or dry areas, a lot of people prefer to run pods. I run pods myself, and only ride at Glamis. If you ride near water, mud, or snow, run an airbox with the pro-flow adapter, and a k&n, or foam type, with a pre-filter. One of those setups, along with removing the air box lid, is probably the most common intake mod on the banshees.
  8. I'm gunna give this a shot... ::Cracks neck and knuckles:: Okay. Here's my guess on this.... He's riding... it bogs at low RPMs, then explodes in higher RPMS. To me... this sounds like just the typical banshee powerband...
  9. I'm having trouble trying to translate what you said into decipherable English. Maybe someone can help?
  10. I doubt we're getting the whole story. Sounds like someone trying to stir up shit. Joins the site, makes a shitty post, and probably never to be seen, or heard from again...
  11. No no no... it's okay. Someone will scoop em up with the armor all, I've just made that mistake once... never again...
  12. Oh man... armor all on sand tires... what are people thinking?
  13. Measure the rim with a tape measure. Or you could always look on the side of the tire for the rim size. It will either be 20x11x8, 20x11x9, or 10x11x10, most likely.
  14. I googled them. It appears that they only sell shock covers, graphics kits, and seat covers... I probably never would have purchased from them in the first place... http://www.verdepowersports.com/ Also, I can't find anywhere on their site that says they are a member of the BBB. That could be why you never got a response. Did you pay with a credit card? It's probably too late now, but you can ALWAYS file a claim with your credit card company, ESPECIALLY if you returned the merchandise and never got a refund.
  15. While we appreciate the heads up on bad customer service, and new members, it's fairly evident that you joined this site just to post this. Maybe some other info would be good. Where are they from? Are they a brick and mortar store? or just online?
  16. Yeah, that's a SMOKIN' deal for those shocks...
  17. Hold the hoe train up for just one second... Who painted your plastics, and what was used on them? They look fucking SWEET! Glossy and wet! I like it!
  18. That's not really a pocket on your seat, is it?
  19. I don't know that I would spend 500 bucks on Works. I would wait, and spend 600 or so on some Elka, or Axis. Personally, I would run Axis shocks, but they are pricier. Also, if you have a shock that is set up right for you, and your type of riding, the compression, and rebound adjustments are a waste. Preload is only really beneficial if you plan on gaining or losing a bunch of weight... It's always nice to have those options, but you are going to have to pay for em.
  20. If you mostly ride dunes... I would go for a set of dual rate shocks. If your budget is 500-600, look for a set of used Elka's or Axis. They are the cream of the crop, in ATV shocks. Reservoirs aren't necessary for most people, but if you go on LONG rides, it might be worth the extra investment. Reservoirs keep the nitrogen and oil separated, and reduce fade as the shocks heat up. If you are unfamiliar with how shocks work, lemme give you a quick run down. Shocks are filled with a thin oil, typically 3-10wt, depending on the manufacturer, and pressurized with nitrogen. The reason for a reservoir, PRIMARILY, is to seperate the oil and nitrogen. This is done with what's called a "nitrogen bladder". Literally it's a plastic balloon inside the reservoir that expands with nitrogen pressure. This keeps the oil in the shock under a consistent pressure, giving you smoother dampening. No air bubbles means a constant viscosity. The dual rate spring setup works by using two springs. The top spring is typically a significantly lighter spring rate. This helps with the light choppy stuff. As that spring collapses it engages the "primary spring", which is a stiffer spring rate, thus giving you more dampening for jumping, or hard riding. Hope I helped.
  21. Wow... that's a load of horse shit... I'd file a paypal dispute for sure. Do you have any of his info? Address? Phone number? Full name? Also, is he just not responding to PM's? I remember seeing his for sale ad, and he made no mention of cracked welds, or the fact that the snout was gouged to hell... That's fucked up...
  22. Damnit Jeff... you keep impressing me. I finally got a chance to ride with my Jeffie Seats LLC seat cover, and it didn't stretch, shift, move, or anything. It's fuckin' awesome.
  23. They look like they'd be alright. The rotation is cool, and they claim that they absorb 100% of vibration. I'm not sure if 60 bucks is a good price or not, as I've never bought aftermarket hangers. I do know that the factory ones from yamaha I think are like 20 bucks a piece. Give em a shot and be sure to let us know! I never knew JC Whitney sold banshee parts...
  24. pics or it didn't happen
