  1. x2 on the lower shock mount. Almost ALWAYS the cause of front STOCK end squeaks. As for the rear, I've rarely heard a stock banshee swingarm that DOESN'T squeak. Probably the same issue as the front end. Pull the shock, and grease the the sleeve. Also the linkage will have two zirk fittings, on the small part of the link. Grease those bad boys up, and if it still squeaks, screw it, you can't hear it when your wide-effing-open. You described it as a creaking, though... not a squeak. Fox floats don't use rubber bushings, they use heims, with misalignment spacers. Those won't squeak, unless they are REALLY worn out. So I would suspect that it's your upper and lower arms, where they mount to your frame. You will find Zirk fittings on the arms themselves, grease em up. If it's kind of a grinding noise, you might have some grit between your brake pads, and rotors... compressed air or a can of brake cleaner should take care of that quickly.
  2. Hey! There... I said it.
  3. Lumen output doesn't mean that the light will have more VISIBLE light. Just as a quick note, UV light has much higher lumen output, but you can't see it with the naked eye. I've seen 500 lumen LED's that don't light up shit... It's all about how the light is redirected with a lens, and reflector. You don't necessarily NEED a reflector to have a really high lumen output. You need the reflector to narrow the beam, and throw the light further. LED lens technology has come a long way in the last few years, and I've seen LENS ONLY LED applications, throw a 10degree beam 100 yards easily, with a 3w Cree LED. It's all in how the light is used. VisionX uses a reflector AND lens combination to maximize the visible light output, and limit the amount of light that is lost "out the sides of the beam". VisionX doesn't have any groundbreaking technology that hasn't been around for a few years, but what they do have, is a neat little package. You can get high power MR16 bulbs in as much as 100w LED now, and I bet they are insanely priced...
  4. Holy Christ... I agree. The only periods I saw in the entire post was at the end of "THX". Okay, well, there was a similar thread started about this a few days ago, turns out the guys throttle cable was broken. Check to make sure both slides are opening up. Sync the carbs, and make sure your choke tube is in place.
  5. Yep... That's your problem. Order yourself a new throttle cable. I believe Jeff at FAST sells them, if not hit up eBay! Easy fix for sure.
  6. There are high power LED mr16's in the 8000k temperature range. I don't know if anyone has tried them, but they are pricey... $30-$50 ea.
  7. Yep... typically an mr16 is roughly 3000k. Some are 2900k, some are 3050, depending on brand. The "blue white" color you are after is a 6000-8000k.
  8. It could be a number of things. I would start with the easiest first. Check to make sure the choke tube is in place between the carbs. (little black line, about 3" long). After that, check to make sure your slides are in the right carbs. There is a little nub sticking out on the inside of the carb, and there will be a corresponding groove on the slide. Those need to line up, and the "half moon" shape, needs to be towards the rear of the bike. If none of those work, you should probably check for a clogged line. One at a time, pull the fuel feed line off of each carb, and open the petcock and make sure you're getting a steady flow of fuel to each carb. If that checks out okay... it's time to disassemble the carbs and make sure all of your fuel circuits are clean. If EVERYTHING checks out above, then I'd say it might be an ignition issue, but highly doubtful that is the case.
  9. Are you talking about having your cylinders ported? Or having your head milled? In the upper right part of the window, click on "BHQ Sponsors". There are plenty of AWESOME builders on here, and I think you'll be pleased with whoever you choose. Everyone, including myself, has their favorite builder, but it's totally up to you who you go with. I think all their port jobs are equally as good. Some have better turn around times than others. Some charge less than others, as well.
  10. Seriously. We miss you. =(

  11. DOH!!! I JUST threw one away... My trash came yesterday... that sucks...
  12. I might just have to buy an SS to run these...
  13. Lets see some pics!
  14. I had an issue with my old FMF's not fitting right. FMF Golds, with powercore silencers. What I had to do was not run the lower bolt on the silencer. I don't know if the cascades mount like the toomey's do, or if they use the upper, and lower bolt like FMF's do. It was strange, everything was where it was supposed to be, but it just looked like the stingers were too short... there was about a 3/4" gap between the stinger, and pipe.
  15. I would say probably 6-7lbs... maybe more depending on how many small parts your are doing... I think a frame would take about 3lbs to do... With PC, there is so much waste as you're blowing it on that it's really hard to gauge how much you'll use.
  16. Yeah. Jimmy kimmel does spoofs like that all the time. funny shit for sure!
  17. Oh Christ.... here we go again. ::Puts on rubber boots and raincoat:: Let the shit storm begin!
  18. Yeah, drain the bowls when it sits. Leaving the floats full of fuel, will keep pressure on that little rubber "cone", creating the groove. It's an easy fix, and easily prevented... Just let it idle, and run itself out of gas.
  19. Oh that's right. MIKINIA38
  20. Do you like blondes or brunettes? PWK's seem to be the favorite around here... but some swear by mikuni's.
  21. Chain roller... it's brand new. I bought it off another member here. It's been mounted, but never used. 25 bucks shipped...
  22. That's a tad extreme. I do agree that he deserves everything he got. I just don't understand sometimes how people think that an admission of guilt doesn't mean anything. Realize that the cops, and the judges are on the same team. You're guilty until proven innocent. Good luck with that.
  23. Go with Jeff. I threw away a Cascade cover to run Jeff's. Best stitch work I have ever seen. He makes Cascade's look like they were sewn in a Chinese sweat shop. You will also get 10x better customer service through Jeff. Not that Cascade has BAD customer service, Jeff's is just that much better.
  24. Speaking of TITS... John... I want to know who that is in your signature.
  25. Might I briefly draw your attention to the "angle of the dangle"... Check out the angle of that heim... ALSO, that there is a jam nut in place. Oh, PS. I hope I never see you in the sand. I don't really want to watch someone kill themselves because they made a horrible decision by Frankenstein-ing a heim onto an arm that had replaceable ball joints.
