  1. Sounds like your pilot size is to big. I have this set up on one of my bikes. I'm at sea level with 42 pilot 178 main 4th clip with just a little less then 1/2 turn out. It works better with low to mid range pipes, like fmf's sst. This is just an idea of jetting at sea level. I don't know about 5000 ft.
  2. I going to be putting a 421 cub motor in a banshee with a +6 swing arm. Is the swing arm long enough for this motor? I'm going to be drag racing this thing on asphalt. Thanks.
  3. Blue wire is for your rear brake light.
  4. I have cool head domes by pro design for sale. 15cc and 16cc are still in it's wrapper. the 18cc is brand new, I just unwrapped it to check it out. $50 each or $120 for all 3 sizes.
  5. I was riding around the village when I noticed a speed bump ahead, so I squeezed the front brakes. At the same time the bike went full throttle, lifted the front end up and flew over the speed bump. I let go my right hand and holding on with my left hand, when the front end came down I was heading towards a chain link fence. I used the rear brakes like never before and just brushed up along the fence. After that I changed to thumb throttle.
  6. They look similar to me but you can check with savage420 to make sure.

  8. This might help you out a bit. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=124825
  9. Cool Heads. You can change the compression to what ever you want. Elevation plays a big part in comp.
  10. Blaster shocks for the front and r6 in the rear. Thanks.
  11. Will the blaster front and rear shocks fit a banshee? Looking to lower my banshee at least 2 inches.
  12. I like'em. All most a year or riding them on village roads. pretty smooth ride.
  13. If you set up your bike for a strong low end to mid, their pretty good. I have them on my 358cc cub motor with a 2 into 1 set up carb.
  14. What would happen if you put in the wrong octane in a cool head with high comp.?
  15. My lights only run on the battery. Nothing is hooked up to the stator. I used a universal on/off switch. I mostly use this bike for drags. The battery is made by kinetic for use in car stereo's. You can run it dead and still charge it up.
  16. I had the same problem. I found that my spark plug rubber boot was old and had tiny cracks in it. It would start up fine cold then after warming up you can hear the spark plug grounding to the throttle cable. Changed it out and never had any problems.
  17. Try Easy Off oven cleaner for the oil build up areas. It's strong enough to remove oil slugged. Watch out for your oil seals and gaskets
  18. Hi, newby here. Anyways I bought a banshee that had a c t racing motor in it. It's a 480cc motor with 72mm pistons with a 4 mill crank. The bike is set up for some kind of racing. The problem is the previous owner blew a head o ring and coolant filled the pistons, crank case and the exhaust pipes. I got that fixed and now I'm working on the frame and electrical. My question is what kind ride should I expect from this motor? Will it smoke my 700 raptor? Thanks.
