  1. If you are burning coolant, you would see white smoke coming out of your exhausts.
  2. Wow! Thats faster then my dad's all motor car, he runs low 10's. Amazing you guy's are able to hold on, especially during take off. You guy's are awsome.
  3. I'm new to 1/4 mile drag racing, just wondering what you guy's times are. So I'll go first, this is my first build and took me a long time to get the funds together. 421 cub with 39 pwks, shearer in frame pipes, +6 swinger with r6 rear shock and marvins in the front, and many too many parts to list. Did 4 runs at the track with average low 13's and best run was 12.97 @ 92 mph. I know my gearing is the problem, getting that fixed and some bigger tires.
  4. Did you lube all moving parts before starting it up? Such as cylinders, cank and piston dowls. I've seen what can happen to a car running with no oil. locked up motor.
  5. Stock pipes holding you back. Advance your timing +4 and rejet after you get your pipes. Then ask them for a rematch.
  6. http://farmandsandtoys.com/products.asp?make=YAMAHA&model=BANSHEE&cat=BILLET ACCESORIES&offset=0 Pretty sure he can send you one. I live out here in Guam and I get most of all my parts from FAST.
  7. I changed out my cool head domes to 19cc and got 180psi compression. It's a stock stroke cub motor with 65mm weisco pistons. What octane would be safe? Thanks.
  8. Changing out my intakes and my new one's don't have the hole for the cross over tube. Do you need to have a cross over tube?
  9. Don't forget to take detailed picture's.
  10. Sorry. I don't know. You can call up C T racing. here's their site http://ctracing.com/
  11. Thats a C T Racing motor. Had the same problem, got really pissed off on the bad deal. Cooled down and ordered a 421 cub top end kit. Always be carefull when the seller say's '' as is ''
  12. Shearer in frame pipe's. They hit pretty good mid to top. They have a bigger exhaust chamber then trinity and look way better.
  13. I would change the front sprocket to a 14 or 15t. Also depends on what size tire's your running. One of my banshee's I running 15/ 41 with 18'' tire's.
  14. I'm running a 421 cub with 39 pwk's. My gearing is 15/41 with 18'' tires. Going to try out the 1/4 mile once I get my new swing arm and shocks. Just wondering if 15 is the biggest I can fit in there.
  15. What's the biggest front spocket size I can run without cutting the case? I'm running a 15t. right now, wondering if a 16t would fit? Thanks.
  16. try 42 or 45 pilot. 1/2 turn out. I'm running a 42 pilot 170 main 4th clip at sea level. 35 pwk's
  17. Devil's Horse.
  18. I have 39 pwk's with billet bowls hooked up with F.A.S.T. intake in my 421 cheetah motor. Got pretty good clearance all around. Jeff will make sure you got all the right parts before you hang up the phone.
  19. You should use a snap on compression tester to get a accurate reading. If it's a new motor, you have to break it in first and seat the piston rings to get a reading. Stock comp. is 115-125 psi.
  20. This is what it takes to run 108 mph at the drag strip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7AIH6i-MWQ&feature=related I think this guy is even more crazy 125 mph. I want to see it.
  21. I put a thin layer of rtv once and had coolant come out from the studs.
  22. Red and Black or Black and gray.
  23. I'm interested in the large stand. I think your pm box is full. shoot me a pm if their still available.
