rebuilding them is easy man. I just went through it myself and was in the same boat you are in now (first 2 stroke bike). Mine also had a bad crank. I bought a stock crank on ebay for like 100 bucks and threw new bearings on it and put it back together. New bore and Vito's pistons. Banshee's are awesome bikes man. Talk to Jeff from F.A.S.T. racing. He is a good guy and will def. help you out.

A manual will def. help. When I rebuilt mine, I just downloaded the manual off of dune review and bought a rebuild dvd off of a guy on here. The dvd really helped and the free downloaded manual helped when torque specifications were needed.

I'm unfortunately unemployed at the moment and am trying to get into polishing. I am NOT the best because I'm a polishing noob but do have professional supplies. I will do parts for like 15- 20 bucks and will be honest with you if I feel I can not do the part. Again I am doing this more to keep me busy and helping out some people that maybe can not afford professional polishers. I am just wanting some money to help with compound and supplies. I just did aluminum handlebars, aluminum clutch lever, and a bumper. I live in 45685 if you are thinking about shipping costs. Here is a bumper I just did. It was BADLY beat up before I polished.

Ok I do not want chain slap I think I'm gonna run the lower one. I'm kinda a big rider, 6-5" 205 pounds and my chain feels really sloppy when I'm off the bike but when I get on the bike I can barley move the chain. Is this correct?
