GrMeyer thanks for taking the time to help out when not to many other people are... I did the rebuild and there is no porting... I think I am going to run without the lid So what main should I throw in there just for first startup and so on.. I don't wanna run right out and do a plug chop as soon as I get it running Also should I be able to run the stock pilots??

just pulled the bowls off of my carbs to see what jetting is in there now and it has 340 size mains in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The motor was blown when I got it due to not rejetting after the pipes so he said he rejetted it now and apparently he put the 340's in it looks like i got a 280 and maybe a 270 whats stock? I can tune it for without the lid and then just throw it on when its wet out right? It'll richin it up alittle right? Thanks guys.. I'm gonna be gettin this thing ready to kick over soon

My cousin's got some ITP offset front wheels and I am wondering how I can tell the rims I am trying to buy are offset. 2/3 offset means 2/3" of an inch or what?

we will have to get some of those metal adjusters... But the idle screw adjustment does nothing... Does that mean it has to be too rich like said above?

its a 400cc big bore powervalve bike... I'm unsure on the jet sizes but its got those 35 carbs on them Can you lean down the pilot by the air screw? Would that have any other affect on the mixture throughout the rest of the rpm or does the air screw only affect the low to 1/4 throttle??

we need some tips. we worked on it for hr and half and couldn't do any good. The idle screws do nothing and we even adjusted the caps and did nothing. What does it need? We already blew out the pilot jets. Think we still have a clog?

ttt we wanna get this thing idling.. Do you guys always choke it before you kick it? How many times do you choke it? I'm afraid we fouled the plugs

just take a screw driver and shove the arm in one of the grooves of the shift star and then tighten up the arms bolt

Did you do the shift mod? I'm at this exact stage in my assembly now Looks like your arm isn't seated properly on the stift star
