  1. Whats up with the plastics? Never seen that before, are those raptor plastics. Do you run a heavy premix, I have found that even good compression motors are hard to start with a heavy premix.
  2. Do you have any pictures of it next to a regular frame banshee? Those are some awesome bikes!
  3. 85 hp stock stroke, pump gas? sounds like bull**** to me. Most 4mills would have a hard time pulling that off.
  4. I am pretty sure it does not matter what state, just has to be legit.
  5. Make sure you put the slides in correctly, its pretty easy to mess that up. I've cleaned my carbs and fixed one problem and then caused another by not assembling them correctly.
  6. I have heard people say that on here but no one has ever said anything to me. It is a rare occasion to see any law enforcement on the trails, I have yet to meet one on an atv trail. I talked to a wildlife officer and he told me that all I needed to ride was a helmet and a registration sticker on my quad(orange vest during hunting season). He acted like the registration sticker was not that big of a deal if you did not have one but I went ahead and put mine on just in case. I go their fairly often so just let me know next time you all will be there.
  7. I have been riding the Osceola national forrest which has some pretty muddy trails and was wondering if anybody had tire recommendations? I am not trying to make a mud machine but I am tired of getting stuck trying to get across the holes. I have a set of worn 20x11x9 razors on their now and am looking to get a new set soon. Don't know if I should get two sets of tires or what. I ride around my house too which is very sandy. What do you guys think, 2 sets or do you all have a good suggestion for something to do both.

I bet you wish you never posted that picture of your homemade death trap!
  9. Does it completely drop the cylinder or just at idle? I had a problem with dropping a cylinder at idle after a few minutes of riding once and it turned out to be a slide problem. The pin that aligns the slide in the bore would allow the slide to turn, after I hit a few bumps the slide would turn and drop the cylinder at idle.
  10. I rode the osceola national forest today, pretty good place to ride. Trails got some water but are still ridable.
  11. Is their actually any difference between a banshee and a 450s master cylinder? I am currently using the 450 calipers with a banshee master cylinder. is their any need in changing the master cylinder or are they the same?
  12. Does anybody have some pictures of grooved Holeshots? Sounds like it could be a good idea to get a little more life out of a set.
  13. Hey can you tell me some more about the sand dunes in albany, are the legal to ride in? If so what do you need?

  14. The fact horses can ride and atvs cannot sucks. My house is surrounded(3 sides) by a 400+ acre Water management tract. You can ride horses that DESTROY the trails, yet you cannot ride anything motorized. RETARDED! These areas are supposed to be for the public. There is several areas like this close to me that cover several thousand acres of awesome trails that are offlimits.
  15. Where is this sand pit in GA? I would like to check it out
  16. I'm in Live Oak which is about an hour from gainesville.
  17. I agree, put it in a high gear hold the brakes and pop the clutch. I had a KTM 300 do this to me because I was out of gas. It was a tight set of trails and I ran into a tree. Scared the S**t out of me

This guy must have a death wish! Why did you do that when the lower ball joint is replaceable?
  19. That Gas Gas is awesome! I have never seen one before
  20. I take it you have never have done the conversion. I am sure that a good set of banshee arms would be better but there is nothing wrong with the YFZ conversion. I did before and after measurements and I found that I lost 1 inch clearance. If you think that doing the YZF conversion is to much work then you have never tried it. If you take your time it takes about 2 or 3 hours. Not much time to "butcher 450 parts"
  21. Anyone riding North Florida South Georgia area? If so where, please chime in.
  22. I disagree, I recently did the conversion and love it. It works out to be closer to +3 than +2 with no movement forward. I never thought a Banshee was worth a crap for jumping until I did my conversion. I ended up with about 250 in my front end and I feel that it is worth every penny. I ride mostly tight trails and small jumps (20 foot gaps or less) and it works perfect. Only downside to the conversion is it lowers the front end about 1 inch(depending on your preload).
  23. DO NOT TRY that crap with the thermometer! Eventually the pressure from the coolant will blow the thermometer out. I know this from experience! I tried using multiple clamps and still could not get the thing to stay in. Just buy a Mr. Gasket Cap, only 20 bucks or so and you can pick them up at NAPA. Works great and cheaper than buying one of those inline setups.
  24. I just completed my YFZ swap (Shocks A-arms and Banshee spindles). The setup is awesome, steering is a little harder than stock but not a problem. I ride mostly fast trails and small jumps and it works perfect for me. High speed stability is awesome with the added width and caster. Only drawback I see is it lowers the front end about 1 inch. I did my before and after measurements and found that it was closer to +3 than +2.
  25. Are you guys running the dust caps on the lower A arms? I am in the process of doing the conversion and I have removed material up to the welds but still can't fit with both caps installed. What would be the harm in leaving them off the outside caps, the brackets should keep the bushing from coming out right?
