thanks a lot, i'm reading now... the more educated i get on this the better off i'll be. i'd rather know what domes to order and why than someone just tell me what to get.

that sucks bad. what was your gas/oil mixture?

are you sure the choke hose that goes from one carb to the other is on? if it is on, have you tried to crank it while giving it throttle? maybe half throttle/? if you tried both of these and neither worked, make sure your tors box is disconected under the tank if the tors are still plugged in it won't matter as long as the box is disconected. try these 3 things and get back to me.

do you know what stock is?

anyone??????????? how many cc's is stock? and do higher or lower cc domes raise compression?

what about domes can anyone give me a idea? and maybe a link to new reed pedals for those reeds.

i had the same problem bout 3 weeks ago, i was adjusting the carbs, i had to pull the carbs out of the intake to kill it. after disconecting the tors, it didn't do it again.

elevationis about 1000 feet above sea level. i just have no clue when it comes to domes, i don't even know how much factory cc is ? or higher cc domes or lower cc domes give you more compression? lower cc? "edit" fuel = 91 octane pump gas. radio=32:1 i have always had good luck running a little richer. and will never change my mind. temp = 90f

ok, so i got my banshee together and got it running great, it's currently got the stock reeds in it but i have a set of boysen cages that im gonna buy new reed pedals for. first i'd like to ask if the boysen reeds are gonna be that much better than stock? the stock ones look like they would flow more air/fuel then the boysen ones? secondly i'd like to ask what size domes i should get if i buy cool heads? i bought a complete jet kit that has jets from 190 up to about 400 and found that 30 pilots and 320 mains worked great for me after changing them about 50 times. the bike has filters rite on the back of carbs "airbox is gone" and has t5 pipes. it's running pretty strong the way it sits, i beat 1 other banshee at the drag strip last night that had pipes and was only a few seconds behind a guy that had drag pipes, bike dropped, cool heads, and reeds. he ran a 70 something in the 1/8th and i ran 67 with my clutch slipping in 3rd,4th, and 5th.

ok, pull the filter off turn the fuel off, pull theplug out and clean out the fuel you put in the cylinder. with the filter off so you can see the back of carb put a squirt of fuel in the carb, not enough to flood it, see if it hits, if it doesn't hit and you have good spark it's either a broke valve, timing chain is too loose, or a electrical problem, if the above doesn't work, disconect the kill switch, see what happens. if that doesn't work disconect the key switch and jump it with a wire...... if you put jumper cables on the battery will it start over with the start button?

i'm gonna leave the tors there, they were designed for a reason. i had the clearence on both slides rite on and also had the cables rite on as well where one didn't open before the other. but something got out of adjustment. i'm hoping it was a cable that slipped back into the splitter. or something.

well got the banshee running seemed to be idling on both cylinders yeasterday but idling a little high. i took it out today it ran pretty good, clutch is slipping a little, not bad. i need to replace it, but after riding for a while it decided to start stalling andnot getting past a quarter throttle till i unplugged tors box. now it will rev and started running again and idling low, both sliddes were even yesterday when i was done and opening even, and were sitting even when no throttle. ima have to take it apart again and adjust the tors, i'm hoping one of the cables on the y box was not in all the way and it slid in when riding today and cuased them to be off again. does running 300 mains and 30 pilots sound about rite for t5 pipes, stock reeds. and airbox removal. filters are on back of carbs?

if anyone on here is a vendor, i wanna buy some jets, 2 "30 pilots" and 2 330,340,and350 mains. prefer new jets

i just got through with a similar problem i'll tell you what all i did hoping for a correction bought a flyhweel puller cleaned the stator with a dremel and cleaned the inside of the flywheel, also cleaned the outside of flywheel and the sensor. changed the reeds out, i had aftermarket boysen reeds, took them out and put a stock set of reeds i had laying around that closed "all the way" still nothing removed the plug wires and went from one cylinder to the other, the same cylinder missed, didn't matter which way the plug wires were i noticed every time i had the jets out i could see a "Round" hole through one, and not the other. so i ordered jets off ebay but i'm impatient and wanted to know for sure this was the problem, i went by hobby store today and picked up some really small drillbits and drilled the pilot jets one size bigger, now it idles on both cylinders. i'm just waiting on new jets to come in before i mess with it anymore so that was the problem. but you see how i troubleshooted, i also checked to make sure both carbs were getting gas.

i should also make it clearn i have taken them apart and put wire through them about 6 times, they were only plugged twice.
