  1. stock needle and i have tried everything on the air screw from all the ways closed to 4 rounds nothing helps. I can put a pilot jet twice the size of the 52 and it dont pop but it wont idle. but that seems way too big for a pilot
  2. I just tried note keyword "tried" to put a boss billet intake and a pair of 35mm pwks on my wheeler. It ran great with stockers but of course I had to mess with it. It is a stock stroke full drag port no airbox setup. The old carbs were set up on a 27.5 pilot, 350 mains and middle clip setting. The 35's have a 52 pilot and a 162 main and the clp in position 4. The problem is at an idle when you stabb the gas it will just die or backfire out the right pipe. If you let it idle for a few seconds you can hit it twice and its fine but on the third time it pops or dies. When it at a higher idle it don't do it as bad. I have ck for airleaks and so far found none. I even drilled an old set of pilots very large and it got a little better but had issues elsewhere. I put stockers back on and everything was fine. It is almost like something in that intake or carb has an airleak. Please help
  3. well crap....I had found a good deal on a wesico but now it may not be so good.....You say come apart do you mean like it needs to be welded or even then it still will break?
  4. it didnt like i said the new pusher is shorter. oh well
  5. ok feel better now but i don't have hardly any threads left. All my adj is about gone...gone have to ck it again. The pancake one is shorter than my original pusher. That is where i am running into problems i thik.
  6. now i am talking about the plate the pusher pushes on. I am concerned about the way it just don't really fit inside the plate being there is a hex hole there. Do you know what i am talking about. i may not be very clear
  7. I just bought a pancake bearing and intend on installing on a stock clutch setup. The problem I have is the old pusher had a hex head made onto it that fit inside the pressure plate and a jam nut that went on the other side. The pancake setup is just a straight shank and the smooth shank goes too far through it looks like. I am out of adjustment on cable end and clutch side.
  8. Ok here is where i am at. All I lack to complete my 4 mill is a crank. From the looks of it hotrods is the way to go. Is there a reason wiseco is not used as much?
  9. anyone
  10. Just curious what you guys are running
  11. you can try www.worldofpowersports.com or the sponsors may can help
  12. av gas 4.00 gallon 100ll this will start some debate but been using it for years and it is very high in octane. It is rated at 100 octane on the lean setting for an aircraft. It will be more like 110 when itis all said and done
  13. I was given a set of stock pj 34's. I was debating converting them to alky. Will they do ok and where should I start on the jetting? I really don't have nothing to loose and it will be my fist alky set up. Next will they be large enough on a 4 mill drag ported motor? I am going to try them first on a full drag port stock stroke motor and go from there. T5's now Shears later (not spelled right) . Thanks all
  14. make sure the choke tube didn't fall off. That can cause a prob on the right side
  15. same thing needle valves. If they are not working right they will cause excessive gas to enter the engine. especially when you turn it off causing it to flood. Try putting a carb kit in both carbs. Really all you need is the fuel inlet neddles and oring for the seats. This should correct the problem. One way to tell is shut the fuel off before killing it. Then the next time youcrank it see if it is better.
  16. unhook the tors under the tank. two sets of wires going to each carb. that ought to fix it.
  17. gimme some directions from hattiesburg mississippi
  18. yes getting too much fuel will cause that. is it smoking real bad like it is flooding? did you try turning the fuel off after running it and letting it sit till cool and try it ? You may have bad needle valves and orings.
  19. your needle vavles (fuel inlet needles) may be worn causing excessive fuel to enter the engine while it is off. Try turning the fuel off as soon as you kill it. See if it helps when you restart it cold.
  20. kinda fits huh
  21. I had PC and raced a raptor 90. He beat me by half a bike length. I swapped to t5 and smoked him>
  22. this may sound dumb but the sure way to ck the clutch is warm it up till bike loses power, come to a dead stop and put it in like 3rd gear, rev it up and dump the clutch, if it goes nowhere or barely the clutch is the issue. If the bike dies, prob not the clutch. If indeed it is lean do NOT run it till problem is solved. PS check for the simple things like the gas cap vent.
  23. Is it flooding while sitting? Maybe it is loaded up and you are having to clear it. Does it do it when it sits a while or all the time?
  24. Hey tony, You got a tracking number for me?
  25. yes that is factory. it will squeeze out
