I know what you mean on it will burn. Our modified dirt car runs meth and you can richen it to the point it produces 3 foot flames out the exaust at idle but never spudder on top. But thats not where it produces peak power. I tune the carb for our car but just didn't know where to begin on converting. What do you reccomend? You seem to have alot of knowledge. thanks to all whom have put in imput

It is stock cyl for now. they will be full drag from HJR. Hope to go from t5's to sheer inframes.

thanks it is sea level and will be a 4mm. How much compression psi wise should I have to run alky? will 20cc stroker domes work?

Mine did the same thing. I was running pump gas and it had preignition causing the plugs to come loose. Started running av gas and problem went away. Maybe back you timing off a little if you have it advanced.

I have a trx450r engine for sale. 5th gear acts funny. I just had it went through and it act as though it is in neutral in 5th. No metal in oil pan. This is just the trans and top end. no stator, flywheel or clutch. don't know what to ask so i'll just take offers. will part out.

I know this I meant comparable. I have another set I'm gone send to herr. I just wanted to know if it is a big difference with a 4 mill vs stock stroke. Thanks

I was wondering how much difference a 4 mill would make on stock drag ported cylinders vs a stock stroke with same cylinders. I know they will have to ported a little different but will I notice seat of the pants difference? I will be running stock carb setup (for now) and t-5. Is it worth the money?

I have all stock suspension parts. I want to lower the front and rear without using those ebay kits. Can I just put shorter shocks on it? If so where do I get them. On a tight budget so don't need no 500.00 setup.

DUDE, please listen to these guys telling you to check your compression. Buy a guage or borrow one and you look at it for yourself. IMO if your mechanic is saying basicly that once it gets broke in you won't have to push.....get a new mechanic. These guys on here are helpful AND you aren't paying them so they don't have to cover their ass with some stupid answer like "its just not broken in is why you have to push it 3 miles to crank it. A new motor should crank in 1-3 kicks. Sounds to me like low compression to. I guess what i'm saying is I would NOT trust the mechanic on his word that compression is good if he thinks push starting is normal for a new motor.

I am currently running 350 mains 27.5 pilots 2nd clip from top on needle.(sealevel) I have about 220 psi of compression and on pump gas it was pinging. It is at +4 on timing. On pump gas it would run out fine. When I went to the 100 LL it seems rich on the top side but the engine runs cooler and pulls alot better until it tops out then it kinda bangs, It don't do it with pump gas but power loss is noticiable.

banshee idling and low speed problems

if you are having to jump start it, clean the battery cables and tap the starter. Let me know where you find em cause i'm sure mine need clening OH YEA do not take for granted the compression is good just because it has 12 hours on it. CHECK IT!!!! -

here's what i did, Unhook the cdi and stator, take the actuator arm out and take a long screwdriver and push the rod all the way through tp the stator side. Now stick a screwdriver in the actuator hole so that it touches the top of the rod. Take a small welding rod and set the welder to a low setting. Need to use a 7018 rod. attach the groud to the screwdriver and very carefully insert the welding rod till it comes in contact to pushrod. it will stick and as soon it does turn welder off. you should be able to pull all of it out. It worked for me fine.

Hi all!! Someone prior to me gutted the t5 silencers on my bike. I need the guts or some silencers. Does anyone know where the best palce to get them is? Or parts for them. It looks as though someone cut the core off the endcap. DA's. Too loud for me!!!

If I go through my relative in GER it will be a little more but I would feel safer. IDK what to do really. That's why I was asking if anyone here has done that or know someone who has.

Maybe banned was the wrong word. i agree on the 450 not having superiority!!! I just didn't know the issues I may have getting it here. I have a cousin in Germany that could purchase it for me and ship it. Are they still available in Canada?
