  1. Welcome to BHQ! If the bike is bogging you most likely need to jet it properly. Don't ride it until you do so or you could damage your motor. Whats your elevation and current mods on the banshee? Do you know what your current jetting is right now?
  2. CPI does pipe repairs if your wanting to send them in
  3. If its good port work and you set the bike up right you should run 60-65. I'm running about 60-65 on my ported 350 with welded stock crank. But there could be a differance in HP running the fmf's, when I run Cpi's. Now I've never had mine dynoed...so I'm not 100% sure, but its ran right next too shee's with 65HP and they've all had riders who weigh 40lbs less than me.. and I kept up no problem. Who is building your bike? I would Ask them what kind of numbers to expect HP wise.
  4. X2 Hit up a sponsor
  5. Look it over really good. Check the compression on it if possible. I say if everything checks out, Git-R-Done
  6. X2. I would ditch that RS and get a stock one. Welcome to BHQ
  7. First off welcome to BHQ! I would start off with pipes, filters, cool head or milled head, timing plate, reeds. Start off with some basic bolt ons like these and see how you like it. MAKE SURE you re-jet with any mods that change your air and fuel flow. If your still wanting more power you can have it ported, bigger carbs, 4Mil...etc. The sky is the limit on these bikes, and just all depends on much $$$ you want to dump in it and what kind of riding your doing. I would suggest calling a site sponsor for any parts or work you mite need done, any sponsor on here will take care of you.
  8. It will be easier to pull the front end up with a +4 rather than a +6, if thats what your wanting. Hit up Tim @ Stellar. I'm going to have him build me one after christmas
  9. There should be tons of topics on here for how to do it. Have you tried the search engine? Hit up Snopczynski on here, hes the lighting expert.
  10. Cascade makes top notch products. But they are on the expensive side, but worth it IMO
  11. If you stay out of large water puddles, pods are the only way to go IMO. I ride 100% dunes and have never had an issue with pods.
  12. I run pro tapers right now, but my next set will for sure be odi
  13. X2 You won't be disappointed with any of these guys
  14. Damn thats sick...
  15. Good to know, I was thinking about getting some trail techs.
  16. Welcome to BHQ Whats your elevation? Have you done a plug chop?
  17. Hell yeah. Bring the 4 pokes on....I aint scared
  18. Its ran in top fuel drag cars Heres a good read: http://www.smokemup.com/tech/fuels.php
  19. Whats your elevation? Have you done a plug chop? I would run your needle on the middle clip. That should get you at a good starting point. FYI moving the clip towards the blunt end (top) is leaner, and towards the pointy end is richer. Start rich and work your way down. I prefer to dial the main in first, then you can mess with the air screws. As for the pilot depending on your mods and elevation you will either run the stock 25 or a 27.5, you shouldnt need anthing bigger. Make sure both carbs are synced with one another as well.
  20. X2. Try the needle on the 2nd clip down from the blunt end. Or drop your main one and see how it feels. Go down one at a time...don't want to run too lean.
  21. 32:1 or 40:1 is good. Cant go wrong either way.
  22. X2. Pull the choke half way and see if your worsens or gets better. That will give you an idea if your needle is rich or lean
  23. I cut my key off, spliced the two wires together and haven't had a problem.
