  1. Don't waste your money on bigger carbs...you don't need them IMO. Like said above, stock carbs will easily run 65-70HP. My buddy runs a ported 4mil with stock carbs and his bike rips damn hard. I run stock carbs on my stock stroke ported banshee, and I eat 99% of the 450's out here no problem. So if a piped 450 is beating you, something is wrong. Just some suggestions: maybe invest in some chariot or vforce reeds. I'm no expert with fmf's and have never ran them on a banshee, but with your dune porting some CPI's or shearers would help alot IMO. Also, what do you mean by modded air box? If you dont ride in water puddles, I would ditch the whole box and run pods.
  2. Damn that looks awesome! I've never seen plastics like that....
  3. I love my CPI's.....awesome mid and pulls super hard on top. And from the shearer's I've heard on other bikes are so damn loud, the CPI's are alot quieter IMO which I like. Just keep them repacked and your golden
  4. X2 ^ Hit up a site sponsor on here. I've heard bad storys of people getting ripped off on motor builds from ebay.
  5. FAST is in Kansas.....http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/
  6. I'd start with some 290 mains and see how that looks.
  7. You better have a decent size motor to run two 39's. What are your mods?
  8. 32 Mikuni flat slides will work great. Anything bigger and you may start losing some bottom end. You could even get away with some 28's, but I would run the 32's. Wildcard Racing is a site sponsor on here and has some awesome deals on Mikuni's, hit them up
  9. X2^. Just having your cylinders ported would be less of a cost. With the 4mil you have alot more to buy to make it all right.
  10. You can't go wrong with either IMO. Chariot makes some top notch stuff, I personally run some Chariot parts on my bike with great results and great customer service. I've never ran there reeds, but I bet they are great. The V-Force are really nice as well, I've ran them in my SE for a few years now and have no complaints.
  11. Welcome to BHQ I think alot depends on the shape that your parts are in. And if the swingarms are stock extended or round house....Got pics?
  12. I don't get why people are so concerned with....oh no, why can't I beat him. Or what can I do to beat my friends 450. I know a guy who hasn't ridden his 4 stroke in two years because he is so worried about people being faster than him Who really cares. I build my bike for me. Not to make it faster than everyone, just for me to have a blast on and rip through the dunes. When I do feel the urge to race the hill its competitive enough to beat people, but there is ALWAYS going to be someone faster...just the name of the game.
  13. Try 27.5 pilots. Also your air screws probably need adjusting too. What do you mean " i noticed i have 2 strok oil coming out up front and a little out the back"........? If your meaning oil is coming out of the front and back of your pipes, you need new orings on the headers and a repack on the silencers. Or is it leaking where the stinger and pipe connect?
  14. I think I run a 120 link on my Stellar +4. Call Tim, he could tell you exactly what to run.
  15. You can handle a banshee. Anyone who says you can't, tell them once you buy one you'll race them . Shit, there are 100 pound chicks that ride in our group who have bigger motored banshee's than half the guys we ride with. Alot of mods you do to the banshee can affect its performance gains in different ways. For instance, different pipes run better at different rpms and come on sooner or later. For trail riding and an all around great pipe, I love pro circuits... they have nice low end, and pull hard all the way to the top. But everyone has there own opinion on parts and what is better to run. Like said above, riding trails won't blow your bike up. But you can melt your motor down and or blow your bike up if its not properly running. Jetting is a huge part of any atv IMO, don't let it freak you out. Honestly these bikes are pretty easy to tune, just instead of jetting one carb you'll have two to tune. Keep reading and taking in all the information you can on this site. I bought my first banshee spring of 09, and have learned about everything i know from here. If you need any parts or motor work from small to big....hit up one of the site sponsors on here. Great guys, and they are THE banshee experts. -Zach
  16. Best thing I ever did was get rid of those. Modquad makes a really nice double locking axle nut, I've had great luck with it and it looks sweet too
  17. Check your radiator cap. Mine was doing the exact same thing, I put a different cap on and now it doesn't leak at all. Maybe its possible to over fill a radiator too?!?
  18. Just make sure your box under the front left fender is unplugged. The tors delete kit is pretty cheap, and cleans up the motor alot... those huge boxes on top of the carbs are huge!
  19. Do it right the first time and give a site sponsor on here a call. I've personally ridden 3 Wildcard Racing built 4mil's and they run top notch. Any sponsor on here will build you a sweet bike
  20. I would do a plug chop at WOT. You are probably either too fat on the mains or too lean. Or go up on the mains like two sizes and see if it gets better or worse. Better to be a little rich than too lean.
  21. Hit up Wildcard Racing...They will take great care of you
