  1. I have a nice set of PTR mids with fatboy2 silencers. I'm want to trade for a set of SB inframe Cpi's or Shearer's, I'm not interested in stinger pipe's. I will add cash how much depends on the Condition of your pipes.
  2. Paul Turner Mids with Fatboy 2 silencers. They are ceramic coated silver. Can throw some cash your way too.

  4. Bored?!? That will most definitely change after this weekend. GLWTT
  5. I'm 14/44, but I ride a lot of tight technical trails. So the lower gearing helps a ton. But 5-6 gear are still long enough for some good speed on the faster trails.
  6. 57.9whp 39.2 ftlbs
  7. The longer rod give you more Rod/Stroke ratio. The closer it is to 1.75 or more the better it is for high rpm use. The larger the R/S ratio is the load on the piston skirts are greatly reduced, bearing life is also increased but very minimally. FWIW the banshee has a 2.03 R/S ratio
  8. I'm in for a 1/2 or 3/4
  9. Why no echo chamber?
  10. One tooth down in the front equals about 3 teeth up in the rear. That's why I suggested 42-43. Mine is 14/44 but I ride a lot of tight/technical trails. So the lower gearing helps a ton.
  11. You like the mid range hit and top end pull of your cpi's but want more low end? How about a gear change? Maybe 42 or 43 tooth rear.
  12. I was having withdrawal's!
  13. x2 on the swinging. Put me down for Jeff @ F.A.S.T.
  14. What do you think would be the power difference on my setup with a set of cpi sb oof's vs the ptr mids? I've already got a timing plate and pods on the list of things to buy.
  15. Well, are there any disadvantages to having a swing arm that's a little to long?
  16. Yea I was thinking a +8 would do. I've read good things on the American Racer sd23 compound tires, so I'll add those to the list. As far as gearing goes, I'm currently geared 14/44 do you guys think this is to low for the 1/8? I've got to buy a new chain for the swing arm so I figured why not change gearing if I need to.
  17. First off I'm completely new to asphalt drag racing a quad, I've always been more of a trail rider. Well recently have gotten interested in turning my trail shee into an 1/8 quad. The setup is listed in my sig. It runs decent for what it is. Now for the questions What size extended swing arm and not run a wheelie bar? What length struts for the front and rear? Is strutting the front ok? What size tire for the front and rear?
  18. Maybe my gauge is inaccurate. But it seems to run like garbage when it gets past 140. I'm just using a meat thermometer T'ed into the small hose on the radiator.
  19. Whats kind of coolant temps are you guys running on trails? Typically when riding open trails with moderate speed (4-5 gear) 120 degrees seems pretty common for me. However on slow tight trails I have to make frequent stops to keep in under 135 degrees. Is there anything I can do to get more air flow across the radiator to keep my temp down. At what temp do you guys consider running hot?
  20. Golden Spectro 52:1 with 111, never has failed me.
  21. As stated above check your coolant if its full, probably just running fat.
  22. I have similar mods with just a little bit more stuff. My elevation is 600ft where I ride and my jet are 320 main 27.5 pilot needle on the 3rd clip air screws at 1.5 turns out from fully closed.
  23. The clymer's manual says nothing about stepping torque sequence.
  24. Judging by your sig I take that as a typo.
  25. With 19cc domes I would definitely run at least some 110 in it. How much timing are you going to run?
