A little run down of the quad. 98 banshee, mods include .020 over fresh cylinders and bottom end, V-Force 3's, Moose boost bottle, K&N 2into1 pod and Paul Turner mids w/ fatboy silencers, stock box with lid/snorkel. I actually purchased it last night, overall I am very pleased with the performance of it. Now for the problem, i got it home last night, it was about 55 degrees outside and it rode great. It had excellent throttle response, and great pull in the band. I couldn't really stretch it out b/c it was 11:30 at night and the headlight wouldn't work. So this evening after work ( 42 degrees) I decided to poke around with it a little, I converted the 2into1 pod to an open element system (No air box), drained the fuel and put in some fresh leaded 111 mixed 52:1 with golden spectro. Well I kicked it off and it was bogging real bad and idled like crap when it was dead cold. A couple of backfires, and no power at all past about 35% throttle. Obviously its sounds like it leaned out quite a bit. I don't have a clue what size pilot's/mains are in it or even where the clip is set. So my question to you all is where should I start with the jetting pilot/main sizes? It also appears that the carb's are out of sync a little, the left one moves before the right one. The right side doesn't start to open until about 10-15% throttle.
