  1. To the above poster with the quad geared like it is now the top speed is right around 74-75 mph. I was launching in second gear to keep the front end down. It crossed the traps in 6th gear at 71 mph. I went ahead and ordered a 38 tooth rear sprocket. That's pretty close to 16-40. I'll give that a try this coming weekend with some 20's on it instead of the 22's.
  2. I have a nice set of PT mids, the set is ceramic coated. The coating is worn down close to the cylinders, the left chamber has one small ding about half the size of a dime. Will take 300.00 shipped in the Continental US.May also trade for another set of pipes. Primarily looking for Mid to Top end pipes. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee257/j...84/DSC02104.jpg
  3. Well Saturday night I took the trail setup to the track just for a little fun. Even though it was pretty slow, I think I may have had to much fun. I believe I have been bitten by the straight line bug. I now have a list of parts to more so tailor my ride to the 1/8 mile drags. I'm needing some help on a few thing. Gearing being the most important. Currently I am 15/50 with a 22 inch tsl's for hill climbs. I was launching in 2nd and crossing the traps in pretty much topped out in 6th @ 71mph. The best run of the night was a 9.34@71mph. That was with a dismal 2.1 60 foot time. So here's the plan I'm ditching the 22's for a pair of 20x10x10 American Racers on Douglas .125's and also ditching the heavy ass front rzr's for some scooter tires on 4 inch Douglas's. I'm gonna do either a 6 or 8 over swing arm with no wheelie bar, but the front and rear will be strutted. So basically I need to know a good starting point on my gearing for an 1/8th mile. I don't think I have the power to pull the near 2:1 ratio that most people use. I have pretty basic bolt on's with no port work or carbs and a mid range orientated pipe setup.

    WTT pipes

I've got some PT mids I want to trade for a good set of Pro Circuit Platinum's. Can add some cash depending on the condition of the PC's.
  5. I want a set Pro Circuit Platinum's in good shape. I have a set of PT Mid's I would like to trade. Possibly might add cash depending on condition and age.
  6. Word. Do you think there is any advantage with pods over a 2>1 filter?
  7. Sounds good. Whats the difference in the stock needle's and say your dj needle's. I've been wondering that for a while.
  8. About to order Pods for the bike. Was wondering which one to get. I was looking and found the number most people use is the RU-0210 they are a 0 degree offset flange. Would I be better off buying the one with the 40 degree offset flange to better suit placement around my exhaust? I'm running PT pipes. Also is there a substantial jetting change required when switching from no box with a 2>1 K&N to pods?
  9. I'm located in Birmingham. We ride around the metro area a good bit at least twice a week, lots of good places to ride. Shoot me a Pm if you wanna come down sometime.
  10. I'm running PT Mids as well on my trail/woods shoot bike. I love them, great pull from off idle all the way up.
  11. You should get in touch with BBIII over on ATVDragRacers.com. He quoted me an awesome price for the front two with adjustable heims. Plus they're billet 7071-T6 I believe.
  12. EDIT. From what I have seen Coo's is a badass place to ride. Lots of gnarly shoots.
  13. I'd strip the graphic's and chop the ears off. Those rockets look nice on it bet they pull great up top. Looks like the inside of your knee's aren't gonna like you very much.
  14. I think the 4 mil cub is gonna be night and day compared the the stock cylinder 4mil. The cub is gonna make the power you just have to get it to the ground and keep the front end down. Hope you plan on picking up some pipes to, those T-5's are holding you back with the drag port already.
  15. Ok, let me ask this. How would going from a 20 inch rear tire to a 22 inch rear tire effect gearing. I know it would give more top-end, but per say how much? Would it be the equivalent of moving up a tooth on the front?
  16. I'm in need of sprockets really fast. Ideally I would like 13/42/44. Here's my choices front 13/14/15 rear 40/50. Im using a 22" rear tire and I like lower gearing for hill climbs. Will a 15 tooth sprocket clear on the front and will a 50 tooth sprocket clear my aftermarket rear skid. I'm currently geared 14/44.
  17. Sounds good I'll pick up some 310's
  18. My banshee is jetted for about 60 degree weather it normally never fouls plugs. Well Sunday it fouled the right side plug. It hasn't been rejetted for the warmer weather. Its about 90 degrees here in Alabama right now. My question is How many steps should I go down? We ride at about 600 above sea level, and my current jets and mods are in my sig.
  19. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee257/j...84/DSC02043.jpg Sorry for the dirty picture, we had been riding for about 4 hours. They clean up nice though. Do you have any pics of your shearer's?
  20. I need pipes in return. So they're not for sale unless its enough to buy a set of cpi's or shearer's sorry.
