If it starts easily cold without the choke, then your pilot is to rich. Go down a size on the pilot, retune your mixture screws and try that.

Yea I checked about the front brakes at a few of our local tracks. There's not a track in a 70 mile driving radius to me that gives a crap about quads. All we have to have is a helmet, jacket, and long pants. Thanks for the advice on the pipes. I still think I'm gonna pick em up though. For 250 dollars I don't think I can pass them up, even if I don't use them right away. At least I'll have them for when I get some carbs and a drag ported top-end.

Well they discontinued the 38 sprocket I ordered, so I ended up going with 16/40 instead. But I also need to do some other things to the bike before I took it back to make safer to ride. It needed front wheel bearings terribly bad and the front a arm bushings were shot. So I've got it down to the frame right now. I decided to go ahead and take some weight out of the frame, ditch the front brakes, picking some spindle mount wheels up from John @ sand toyz, +8 swing arm, and I'm currently trying to purchase a set of GRR sbsf oof's from a guy on AtvDragRacers. So we'll see how it runs this go around.

I was gonna mention the same, I would think 10 would suit your needs nicely. There may still be times when your on the back tires, but with the correct amount of slip all will be well.

I spoke to John at SandToy's this morning he quoted me a good price shipped to Alabama. They'll be setup for the stock spindles with the correct bearing and spacer. Thanks for everyone's help.
