I would think all she needs is power of attourny and the fact that she was responsible for the payments AND it being a marital asset, would mean it's OK to buy it from her. I would also document the fact that you have paid for it {cancelled checks etc} so if nothing else, there's a lein on the bike by you. Either way someone now owes YOU for the money you spent.

Drunk As Hell And Wanted You Guys To Know It
Holyman replied to dcmoose's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I think you better sober up before you propose. Consider a couple things... 1- She rides a banshee and drives the same car as you... hmmmmm Maybe you were so smashed that you were flirting with yourself at the bar and that chick that was next to you was your reflection in the mirror behind the bar 2- Girls like that don't come along very often so it might have been some other GUY that you were flirting with and weren't sober enough to tell. 3- If 1 or 2 above are true... I wouldn't suggest playing fetch unless your used to to playin' it with guys already PS... she didn't really call you, you sat on your cell phone and it dialed your home number. The heavy breather you heard and assumed was her was really only your butt rubbing the couch cushions. -

There are quite a few guys on the HQ that have them and I have sold hundreds of A arm bearings on eBay. I warrantee ALL of the bearings I sell and give HQ members a $15 break off the eBay price. What makes them better than plastic is that they don't crush out or wearout from impact. The bearings are rated for high RPM's and impact. SO a plastic or brass/bronze bushing can never hold up as well because they work only by rubbing instead of rolling. Bearings are the best choice for A arms but even better for J arm because the Jarms have more leverage against the pivot point and wear out even faster. I am also the only one who offers a bearing with a built in seal. I had these shipped just for me from Germany. These are the ultimate protection when it comes to water and dust prevention which are the only 2 things that will kill a bearing. Email me if you want to hear more or have any other questions... Holyman replied to Holyman's topic in General Banshee Discussion
When are you coming in?? If you really need your "fix" let me know and we can take a day trip to Dumont... or just putt around out here.... Let me know if soon so i can see about borrowing a buddys' quad. I would've offered earlier, but thought you just wanted info on things to do here in town... Thnaks for the offer Otis but since titty bars are out, judging by your Avatar that's the only place I'm gonna find you PS I don't golf. -
I give discounts on A arm bearings that replace the plastic bushings. But I don't sell the A arms themseves.

Like the link I posted says, the boost bottle can give some slight performance but usually very insignificant and only when matched to the engine. I have heard from guys who have extensive porting that it makes a very slight improvement. To me it's not worth it since the cables rub a hole in it anyway and you wind up blowing the engine because of the look. I say plug up the holes and go riding.

There's a spigot on the bottom with a water hose fitting. Most manufacturers suggest regular draining to preserve the water htr. You can significantly reduce the problem by running the water into a small holding tank before it goes into the water heater. You can get a 20 gallon tank for about $50 at most home centers. Just run your cold line in one end of the storage tank and out the other end intot he cold inlet of the water htr. My old house the water came strait from the well into the wtr htr. It was so cold that I lost 1 wtr htr in less than a year and the pressure valve was always popping open. I ran it into a tank fist and that allowed the water to get to room temp and that solved that. plus it's easier to heat from room temp than ice cold. Depending on how you have it piped up too, it may help settle out some of the sediments that make your water so cloudy.

How the heck is it that your insurance didn't pay? What state do you live in? -
If you mean the water heater sounds like someone is rolling a handful of marbles around in it, then your water may be too cold when it goes into the wtr htr and you get a thermal shock. This is even worse when there is a buildup of minerals on the bottom of the inside of the tank from hard water. If you mean the water pipes slam when you quickly shut off the faucet, then the expansion chambers are water logged. You need to shut off the main water supply and drain down the whole house to let air into the system. This will bring back the shock absorbing cushion in the expansion chanbers. Some municipalities use mechanical expansion chambers and this would likely not work by draining the system. Hope that helps.

I don't think it will work. If you need a new carrier for your old one I have a 87 carrier. You're best off finding a newer swingarm with a carrier. I got one from ebay for $75 and it's like new.

Amen... And if you need any, let me know and I'll get it to you at almost dealer prices... [email protected]

Sears has parts for every brand appliance. I just ordered some for my Whirlpool washer. They have a link based on your model number and even have diagrams on line. You can order with a credit card and the parts show up at the door in a couple days.

The tapered bearing is what you'd find in an automotive application. Longer life and takes alot more abuse than a ball bearing.
-
Me too. I want one with tapered bearings.

here's what I did...

How much do you have to spend? I have an almost complete roller I'd sell with or without the blown engine. Email me... [email protected]
-
Just gotta make sure there's room for the rear head hose. Not a bad way to go and you could cut it later if you want or need to.
-
I'd say take it apart and go tou your nearest bearing supply house. Otherwise, I could try to get the same one for you. [email protected]

If you're gonna slam the catholics at least spell it right. I love religious jokes.
