  1. Start by tossing the stock air box and get clamp ons or a 2-1 filter. In fact wayfst has a set of clamp ons with outerwears for $35. Killer deal and your banshee will be able to breathe for a change. I think it's the best dollar for dollar mod to start with.
  2. You mean like this...
  3. Are you gonna reply to my email.
  4. Holyman

  5. Can you send me a pic of the plug you need? [email protected]
  6. Which 2-1 do you have? Send a pic to... [email protected]
  7. I want the boyeson reeds, carb spacers and maybe stock rear tires. Can you send me a pic... [email protected] PLEASE DON"T PM ME!!!
  8. Do those stock rears come with the rims?
  9. Didn't you have the safety chain hooked up?
  10. Usually the problem is not repaired with the stuff they send you because the stuff they send you in that kit is not damaged. It's the design of the kicker that causes the problem. It's like putting new chain tensioners on your banshee because the chain is stretched out. The chain is the problem not the tensioners. The kicker is sloppy because it's worn out but the screw holds it on so people think putting in a new screw will fix it.
  11. Compression is one of the first things you should check. It might be a tool you don't need all the time but it will tell you ALOT about an engine before buying. the thing about a 2 stroke especially a banshee is when they blow, they blow up. The last banshee engine I had from a blown one had one crank rod sticking in the bottom of the right hand carb and the other rod was sticking out the bottom of the case. Needless to say, if I wasn't already parting it out, I would have ended up parting it out. Remember that you subtract a minimum of $100 for each defect when negotiating the price. Banshees are expensive to repair so make sure you maintain it and use your money for upgrades.
  12. OK I tried the lets be friends thing with my cousin I was guardian for. Very long story short... it ain't worth it. edited Example 3 The lawyer was defending a step parent from going to jail for child abuse. What happened... the mom and new husband were having a party. Deadbeat dad had agreed to have the daughter but decided to drop her off at the party. Brat child refused to watch TV in her room even after pizza was ordered and videos were rented. Spilled food, antagonized the guests, threw tantrums etc. New dad warned and warned and warned and then put daughter over his knee and gave her 3 light whacks thru her clothes in front of everyone. She promptly gets up and calls the deadbeat dad and the cops. Long story short he goes to jail, loses his job etc because he paddled the kid for good reason. There is no way in the world whatever she is putting out is worth having that kid in your house.
  13. I've got 2 RZ engines. 1 with 13,000 and 1 with 8,000 miles. Both spotless clean. I want $800 each as they sit. If I sell the engines, I will sell the other RZ misc. I have. I also have a bunch of misc. Banshee stuff and a 2001 Blaster frame with clean title and other blaster stuff. Basically you name it and I probably have it. email me for pics or details... [email protected] DO NOT PM ME!!! I hate PM's!!!
  14. In my experience, not just trail friendly but trail necessary. I'm sure I still have some jetting fine tuning to do but I had no problem at all pulling 6th wide open after installing the tube when before it would lag for en extended period before gradually climbing. All in all I'd say timing plate and lightened flywheel are good affordable mods without tearing into the guts of the engine.
  15. Well I put the crossover tube back on and she rips better than ever. Thanks for the tips guys.
  16. Thanks... that's just what I needed to know. I finally put on my triple rates and want to keep 'em nice but water WILL get in there and if it can't get out, it'll be worse than just having them rock chipped. I guess I'll stick with the regular style.
  17. I want the beadlocks. My email is [email protected] send me an email with your price. I HATE PM'S.
  18. I'm looking for shock covers and I saw the neoprene covers with the zippers on the back. Is anyone using these? How do they hold up on trails?
  19. When something falls out of a box in transit, they don't find it a week later and all of a sudden know who it's supposed ot go to. You got screwed and you need to let everyone know who did it.
  20. Thanks MEAT. As it turns out I think I make about .38 cents on the mod but at least I'm not losing money on it any more. Of the $15, about $5 goes to return shipping, I buy custom springs and stainless grease fitting, I include the anodized chain with the stainless fittings and the stainless screw and stainless nylock nut. After I'm done machining the post for a larger ball bearing that won't let the kicker get stuck in the folded position, and the grease fitting, I paint it with at least 3 coats of Rustoleum Hammer finish Black. On top of all of that, if there is a problem, send it back and I'll fix it. So far, I have had 3 complaints... 1 rattled, 1 the paint job went bad {I tried to do 2 coats of solid black and couple clear coats and it disolved the base coat while in the box} and 1 that swings out by itself while riding. So there's the good bad and ugly.
  21. Since you don't have a camera, you might get a little more legitimacy by adding your home phone number and address so anyone can call or at least confirm you are who you say you are.
  22. Just a tip... any of you guys that are homeowners could probably get a home equity line of credit to buy this biz and you could make interest only payments for up to 10 years.
  23. How much extra does it cost?
