  1. Just finished installing one on mine. I had to loosen the clutch cable then adjust it. First time, I didn't have enough adjustment left on the clutch handle. I was told to run the adjuster in until it touched, then back it off just a hair. Seems to release fine now.
  2. about 100 miles from Barstow.
  3. How many HQ members are going for sure? Definately need to hook up an all banshee ride. Got at least 3 going with me.

  5. Welcome to the HQ. Lots of good info and cool people on here. Looks like a stock swinger. Should wheelie alright.
  6. My buddy got hit last year at dumont. He was parked at the top of a dune and a buggie slammed into the side of him. Guy got a DUI and didn't pay to fix anything. His lawyer told him if he payed for the damages, it was an admittance of guilt. Told my buddy to give me his address and I would convince him to do the right thing.
  7. I'm planning on taking it to dumont for the night ride on Aug 8th. If anyone wants to see it up close, let me know.
  8. I remember when that happened too. I saw it happen again last year on comp hill. I own a small vw buggie and I always watch out for guys on bikes. Couldn't imagine how I would feel if I did that to someone. It would probably be my last trip to the dunes.
  9. Forgot to mention I'm in So Cal. I do not want to ship it. Pick up only. Let me know if anyone is interested. Bike is set up for sand. No skid plates. I have a set of dirt tires I will throw in also.

  14. Missed the last one, but I'll be there. Trying to get a group from Barstow to come up. No drag bikes, but all of us have banshees.
  15. Pulled a few friends quads out of the dunes. Also tried to pull a rhino back to camp, but didn't make it very far. Gave up after 20 ft or so. I ripped 2 paddles off both back tires. When I got home, I left the junk paddles on and pulled weeds in the back yard. Might not pull that great, but makes one hell of a roto tiller.
  16. For that price, You can't beat the suzuki. I have a 250R for a second bike, and its fun as hell. 310 big bore, ported, set up for sand only. Bike rides like a trophy truck. If you get a chance to ride one, check it out.
  17. Payment sent for 2 yellows. Thanks
  18. Forgot your paypal info. I'll order 2 yellows when you put payment info. Thanks
  19. Hell yeah. Count me in. Thanks
  20. Compression test should tell you for sure. They should be within 10% of each other. 120 lbs is around normal for stock.
  21. The intake boots are different sizes for different carbs. Stock carbs are 26 mil. Does it have a boost bottle or stock crossover tube? If it has a boost bottle, it will crack again eventually.
  22. I think some of them are just cold blooded. My buddys was always hard to start. Had good comp. and we changed the jetting a few times. Still a bitch to start after 5 years.
  23. I'll pick up a couple for sure. Just let us know when. Shirts came out nice too. Thanks
