  1. is the 700r stock? if so then your good to go. my 700r is under a week old and the banshee kills it in a race. all it has that enhances performance is a port job, t5 pipes, and pods.
  2. Anyone know where to send my crank in to get middle bearings pressed in? Also, how much am i looking at?
  3. Red J-Arms, still feel tight. Shoot me a price.
  4. the raptor is broke in as good as its gonna get. it has 70 miles on it, i still smacked it. we did trade, my dad even beat me with him on the banshee and thats saying something!
  5. suspension is everything, unless you are riding on flat land 24/7, the stock suspension is not going to get it i have an 09, 4.6 hours on it. sure the banshee beats it, but the banshee sure wont outhandle it, and the raptor can destroy it on the track due to its ability to pick itself up in any gear and suspension.
  6. My banshee is just barely over stock bore and it does have stock stroke. I got a 2009 raptor 700r tuesday and yesterday my banshee walked all over it in a race, it wasnt even close.
  7. that sucks man, my grandpa died this morning.
  8. there is no tranny fluid. its all lubricated by engine oil. only the crf450's (maybe trx, idk) have seperate compartments. i have heard bad piston oilers are common, so do your top end often.
  9. check your manual to see if your cylinder is nikasil plated. i know my 94 cylinder was.
  10. oh, i was just wondering if this was common since my vito's pistons were the same way, but my wisecos werent.
  11. I stand corrected.
  12. they arent made by wiseco. how come it always seems that one piston is alot dirtier than ther other?
  13. wow, LOL! im sending this to peta.
  14. custom pistons are insanely pricey. it will save you alot of money to get your cylinder bored and re-nikasiled if it is nikasiled, so you can run regular pistons.
  15. what do you need to know? midwestactioncycle.com has good deals on top ends if they sell for those. it is powervalved, liquid cooled, all of the fancies. powerwise it is much different from the modern ones, but its a good bike.
  16. the look on my dad's face when he walked in... man, those five minutes it took me to explain were the most awkward ive ever experienced.
  17. i think its actually 7.5. ft lbs, use loctite whatever you do!
  18. It was a kickass video that helped me alot. I still havent forgotten you nitro, a donation is coming.
  19. you have to adjust it to a certain spot, not just as much as possible. make the clutch engagemant nipple line up with the arrow on the case.
  20. oh, so override is kinda like a recluse? it does its job differently, but does the same thing.
  21. Ive been into motocross my whole life, so I have no idea what people are talking about when they say duneable override and lockout clutch, and all of that stuff. what is the idea behind these things?
  22. you guys sure its 26? if so im buying it? btw, got the new cable and its the right one, it was 1/4 inch shorter.
  23. lulz, sorry guys, it was a joke. an inside joke i guess.
  24. where could i find the piece that holds the clutch cable down into the little saddle? im missing mine for some reason.
