okay man just an idea as long as theres not two friction plates suck together by acident i know it sounds stuped but i put mine together and even rod it that way took me a week to figure it out

posibly an extra clutch plate was still in the basket when you put in the new ones happend to me once just an idea

i kno they all brake and a 4stroke does cost more to rebuild but, i they are less likely to break IMO. also i do live in pa and ride alot of trails and mx so maybe i should just save for a yfz idk what im going to do but i dont wanna give up on banshee i love them dont get me wrong but im just thinking mine is beat and needs alot. .... i think im going to try and buy a new 4stroke and keep the banshee and do a ground up build... u guys are so good at changing my mind!!! :biggrin:

like if i could i would buy both! but im out of work right now and i real just want a new quad im getting sick of this one and like im so close to buying a 4poke like u dont even kno. i never had this much problems with a 2stroke ever.

my quad is not even running right now btw lol i forgot to say that my bad the head i bad a it burns antifreeze.

i have known him for a few years and riden with him. he is basicly my neighbor. and he deff does not ride hard lol. it has been taken care of and i kno it was parked right after it started making noises

i would be doing all the work myself. and also i kno that fixing is part of a 2stroke but mine breaks way to much im lucky if i get a good 2 days of riding b4 it breaks and sits a week. the guy who had it b4 me beat the shit out of it. its like bad i dont think u realize what i mean i have always owned 2strokes and done all my own work to them and i never dumped this much money in less than a year like i said its one thing after another. my buddy has a le banshee and doesnt have anywere near the amount of problems i do i think i should just start fresh. b4 for i buy a 4stroke. bc i hate downtime and i cant stand going without a quad.

mines just old and its beat and it was beat when i got it and i want a newer one! i have only had it for a year and it doesnt seem to get any better than when i got it everytime i fix one thing another breaks. i think its just getting old.

he doesn't want my banshee i just dont have enough to buy his. hes not like advertising it or anything but like i do think i want to buy it. he said 1800

mine is a 93 and it has chain break and the clutch is about to go and also could use a new set of rings soon. my plastics are all crap. and my pipes are rusted and shity. i kno its a good bike bc i kno the guy and he has had it. sence it was brand new. and its alot nicer than mine i think its a 1999, could be newer. im not sure its all blue, and it looks like brand new. he said if i wanted to hear it run. i could start it up but the bearing will make a bunch of noise.

does this sound stupid??? i guy up the road has a 1999 banshee with pipes. alot nicer than mine. but it needs new crank bearings. does this sound like a stupid idea? the cases and perfect and its has alot less wear and tear. but i cant aford to outright buy it.

i had to splice into the orange wire on the coil and a ground. this works also. but i dont have much of a harness left.

how much for the filters?

so 66.00 would put me at .080 over is .080 safe im sure thats like my very last one.
