  1. Does anyone know how much a stock banshee a arm frame weighs stripped with no a arms or swing arm or anything else on it ?
  2. Yep
  3. Toomey T3 thread
  4. I think they cut a piece out of them and reweld them.I was going to buy a set once about 6 or 7 years ago and cut them so i had it all researched but now i cant remember exactly what they do to them.I am sure someone on here knows how or you could google it or make some calls. They did this to turn them into a drag pipe.I have seen cut t3s on ebay before. But there are so many good drag pipes out there now i dont know if it is worth the effort to cut them anymore.I guess it depends on what you want to do.
  5. ?
  6. Have the t3s been cut? After you cut t3s they make a pretty good top end pipe.T3s used to be used alot before all these other newer pipes like shearer and cpi were so avalible.I have heard they are pretty decent before you cut them.
  7. If you are close to see level with a 19cc dome you definately need to at least mix 50/50 with 93 an race gas. What is your timing at also your signature says you have a shaved head and a cool head?
  8. Your explanation makes sense to me and this sounds like the kind of power i am after.I want it to pull hard through the power band and not just have peak power.I am a 260 lb rider so i think that would probably work good for me.Thanks. i
  9. I was thinking along the same lines as you but i just got my bike off the dyno and the motor builder was talking to me about doing this to my cylinder to get alittle more out of it and was trying to figure out how this would give me more power.I trust the builder hands down, i will ask him alot of questions if i decide to do it.I was wondering if anyone on here has done this.
  10. A long rod would be 5mils longer not 4mil. A stock length rod is 110mil, a standard long rod is 115mils.The 4 mil is talking about your crank pin being moved for a longer stroke. The pin is only moved 2mils but you gain 2mils on the top of the stroke and 2mils on the bottom that is how they figure 4mils on the stroke.115mil length rod is stock for a blaster that is why you can use blaster pistons as well as the 795 series wiseco piston.
  11. I am thinking about have the bottom of my cub cylinder shaved off and my domes re cut has anyone had this done to there bike and if so did you like the outcome?I have been told you can squeeze a little more power out of these cylinders by doing this.
  12. I am trying to decide to buy an axle or a set of 39 kiehn alky carbs.I just got my bike of the dyno and i could gain 6 to 8 hp with the carbs.I am leaning towards carbs for now but still want an axle so dont wait for me if you can sell it.I might have to sell my 35 alky carbs before i can buy an axle.
  13. yes, i sure did thanks.
  14. turning the plate clockwise to the end of the slot advances it an turning it counter clockwise retards it.
  15. I sent you a pm, i am very intrested in your axle thanks.
  16. Thanks, i think i will have to try it.
  17. Cub cylinders come from the factory with auxilary boost ports and so do dirt bike motors and i think a tri Z comes with one on one side and you can add one to the other side so that should tell you alot.
  18. My in frame pipes are fat bastards and i think they work good.I have out ran alot of cpi pipes with them, they are made by shearer but to vitos specs.I mainly like them because they are different and you dont see alot of them and i like to be different :geek:
  19. I am looking for a drag axle thanks.
  20. I had the same problem with my bike,i ran my bike a few weekends with 18cc domes and +8 timing and everything was ok then i went back and kept rattling plugs out and popping dome orings so i switched to 19cc and left everthing else the same and it ran perfect i was told that 18cc is on that fine line were everthing has to be just right to run them without much room for error.
  21. I had someone tell me to stay away from the splined ones cause they wear out.I have no personal experience with either one i am just going off of what i have been told.
  22. I want to thank you guys for the input,i do allready have a link style arm so i think i will stick with it for now.Can you put a solid strut in a link style when you are at a groomed track? My rear shock measures 11.5 eye to eye.
  23. THANK YOU
