  1. I agree. If you have an older bike, your slides might wear out a bit, you can see it changing back to silver, and they'll start to "hang up" on you, and not slide as smoothly. Or if you nick a slide by forcing it in the wrong way, and it gets a small burr in it...then you can sand it off.
  2. Nice, that's what I was thinking. Been sanding stuff down lately, hoping to get to repaint some shit on a weekend...supposed to start work Monday, so I'll be having my jugs sent out within a month, probably 2-3 weeks.
  3. Lmk if they don't get to you...I'll make the 3 hour drive and contact them alright.
  4. Finding somewhere you can back your truck up to that is near level is worth it. Since we are so low in elevation, most of the main roads are built up, especially in most riding areas because they tend to be praries/swamps/low elevation shit like that. Any populated places are already built up. So it's easy to find a berm to load off and on from.
  5. That's why I wouldn't mind picking up a 400EX to use as a wheelie and other shit like that bike. It's sooooo much easier to ride wheelies over distances on them...the Banshee is a huge balancing and braking act. The 4 strokes just don't want to flip your ass off like the Banshee does with it's powerband. It's definately do able, it just takes a lot more practice. But as far as having fun when riding goes, what the Banshee offers, I wouldn't have it any other way...
  6. I noticed how much Banshees roost (lol), but I never noticed the 4 stroke "pulsating"...huh I'll have to look next time. I'm usually watching the trail, and looking at the sides of the 4 strokes, trying to find passing room on the 1 bike-wide trails.
  7. Lmao.... You have a NOS Turbo and chrome exhaust tipped PW50 that can smoke 500s? Did I read that right? Did your mommy tell you to buy a raptor too? Don't get a Banshee dude, you are going to kill yourself, I can tell already... I think a 300EX is the bike you're looking for.
  8. Fuck...why does he have to be from Florida...
  9. Someone said "I found this, but no Banshee." They obviously edited it to keep the file size down.
  10. Yeah, I know what you mean. There is a gap between the bed and cab on my truck...but still the weight of a Banshee, and just tap on that glass with a quarter and you will see how thin and breakable it is...
  11. +111111111111111111111111111111111111 Bush brothers love to whine, Jr owns all.
  12. It's that flat plate glass isn't it? The impact carried through the metal, and the force was exerted on that shitty rear window. It's easy to break those things. That's why I don't drive up the ramps, lol... a nice swift push will do. Besides my 2x8s aren't made for quad loading, just regular boards. They are dangerous.
  13. Vtwin is more of a motorcycle term IMO... I'd imagine the less travel and two smaller pistons also means less fuel consumption at higher RPMs, compared to a single cylinder of the same cc having to travel further...
  14. Was that screw loose and causing you to leak so much fuel?
  15. We should contact someone (manager/agent?), and send him a BansheeHQ sticker.
  16. You've never owned a quad until you've owned a Banshee.
  17. You'd get a better response with pictures, and a location.
  18. Huh. I'm going to try this lol.
  19. No..the cost of truck gas to the nearest legal riding spot (hard to ride out on cops being injured), cost of Banshee gas, and banshee oil. I went on vacation for 2 weeks, and only so much of it was paid...then factor in my injury leave time, and not having my surgery until next week, I was trying to be responsible and not spend all the money to ride. Honestly, I only sleep like an hour at a time with this damn shoulder lately...so riding and getting ass kicked by the 'Shee hasn't been so easy to do.
  20. Torn rotator cuff, right shoulder. I can get the adrenaline to ride it, and cruise around, but I can't get the adrenaline to push start it without f*cking up my shoulder more. Trust me, I tried push starting it today before the diesel showed up to tow start me, and my shoulder quit. Turning the bike is a hell of a lot easier on my injury than is push starting it. (Injury = why I have not rode it in so long, and the cost of it.)
  21. We don't have any hills here... If I go out riding, and it stalls, I'm fucked. Especially if there's no one to tow me... I was thinking of going riding tonight too, this sucks. Now I gotta wait for this bitch to ship in...
  22. I've seen pictures of it on here before. He has one. Dont go with any Razrs if you want "lightweight" and road riding. They are heavy, and don't like the road. Dirt however....they love.
  23. I know for a fact it was the BB that started anything that did occur. The BB was being a huge bitch going in... Everything else went perfectly smooth. I knew it wasn't 100% perfect, but it held for months so I figured it'd be fine. I should have Loctited that screw too though, now that I mention it. I'm having the hardest time keeping damn screws on this thing, lol.
  24. Lol, that comment made it hilarious.
  25. What is the cost breakdown between them? I'm not even sure where to find the Hoosiers, or any comparable wheel. The only ones even close were shitty.
