  1. I'd say if your having traction problems go with some 22's out back then drop your rear sprocket
  2. Yeah its turbo'd... thats whats wrong, and depending on what turbo set up he's running and how the engine is built he could be runnin' 150+HP, I doubt it cuz it doesnt look set up very much but it is turbo'd so its got alot of power
  3. I've got to tell you man, many people say get some VF's, but If you get them ported properly and put the right petals on there, I personally like the dual stage carbon petals... it will do just as well if not better than VF's and in most cases they will flow better!
  4. Why do you think its in another language so people look at the chart and say oh must be good and whip out their credit cards
  5. thanks guys, yeah thats probably it
  6. Got the motor done and went to put the flywheel on and it goes too far in, it touches the mounting screw for the stator, I dont remember taking a spacer/washer off but is there suppose to be one behind the flywheel?
  7. Your biggest change will be in the heighth what you want to do is use whatver petals your planning on running or the stock ones as your template. Remove material from around each port until you have just a little bit holding each petal on. With the top of each port you go up to about 1/2cm. below the screw hole. sorry no pics, but like I told 05. just need to practice. I recomend using a triangular file and if you want to speed up the process a dremel with a carbide cutting tip... be careful when using the dremel though you dont want to take out too much. If you still have questions call Brandon at Wildcard Racing he can help you, he's a great guy to work with 435-660-1979
  8. For now I'll stick with the 3-3 set-up. Once I ride it a bit if, I can go stiffer it doesn't take much to change them out
  9. F.A.S.T. has them
  10. Here's some final pics with the reeds installed and the case fully polished, the polishing looks like shit in the pics IDK why, but whatever
  11. You can use the stock pilot, try everything stock and leave the pilots alone and do a plug chop and see what happens cuz he may have it right and like you say if you blow it which probably wont happen for one wuick run to do a plug chop then it's an excuse for pro-lites and agressive port
  12. I'm at see level with what I have and am running 20's, but I tell you what call up Brandon at Wildcard Racing 1-435-660-1979 tell him Mike from Alaska sent you and ask him what domes, and instead of getting VF3's send your stock cages to him and have him port them I think it's like $50 then go to Vito's and order some Carbon 2 stage reeds they're like $30-40 that's a total of $90+another probably $20 for shipping so that's $110 for all that compared to $220 and it works just as good if not better than VF3's you'll be really happy that you did man
  13. Well a few different places... Cool head, UNI pod filters from Rocky Mountain ATV The timing plate from Ricky Stator the TORS removal and the new jets you'll need from Jeff at F.A.S.T. and the reed cage porting from Brandon at Wildcard Racing he doesn't have a website, but his phone number is 1-435-660-1979, and the carbon fiber reeds (I'd go with the 2 stage carbon reeds) from Vito's performance
  14. Haha nice man, a little inovation can go a long way... That's really how almost all great business ideas get started is someone trying to rig something up or messing around. Who knows design it a little better and start selling Dan's outerwears haha
  15. I'd just take them all off, put loc-tite on each one and put them back on and re-torque them, but either way will work fine
  16. You won't find them anywhere because they are discontinued, unless they're used of course, but keep an eye on here I occasionally see them for sale. As far as mods... Im guessing you want bolt-ons? Well basically a cool head w/ domes (NOSS or Pro-Design or one of the other brands, dome size will depend on your elevation), ported reed cages with carbon fiber reeds(it's alot cheaper than V-forces, and just as good), UNI pod filters, I'd say either stay with your exhaust, adjustable timing plate advanced to probably +4, and a TORS elmination kit if thats not already done. That will get you started, but you'll want more. For now though just go with that stuff it will really wake her up
  17. It's rare, but I have seen like 0.025 and 0.035 ans so on, but only like once or twice. Congrats on the shee man... now that you got one this website will become your best friend haha
  18. Yeah you are suppose to re-torque everything after break-in, Idk why it would be doing that, but if it stopped I'd just keep an eye on it. If you're worried just use a little loc-tight
  19. 330 sounds pretty high. 280 does sound about right unless you've done a plug chop and it says different. If your kinda skidish go with 290 or 300, but with the mods in my sig. not including the coming soon part I shold be around 330 at sea level and I have alot more mods. So if your really worried go 290 keep your 27.5 pilots. The stock air screw position is 1.5 turns out and the stock clip position is right in the middle on the third clip
  20. Yeah I hear ya, I think I'll do that in the process of finishing the final touches
  21. This is probably the wrong forum, but whatever. Just wanted to show you guys what I've been working on. It's finally done except for a few fininshing touches such as installing electrical, finish polishing etc. it's set up for trail/mx as that all I really do, all mods in sig. what do you guys think? and can anyone give me a ball park estimated HP with thos mods plus the mods in the coming soon section. still working on the frame, but will post pics when that is done!
  22. It's seems like everyone is asking about this lately. This is the 3rd time in 2 weeks I've posted this link haha. I already made a topic post about how I did mine  so go through and read what I did and check out this pics, check out the other posts too. heres the link bro Ceramic Coating
  23. I've had personal experience with this... Don't paint it, I know you really dont want to hear this because you have some time and effort into it, but just get it powder coated. I painted mine just for the some and like the first day I rode it started looking like shit... So now that I've got it apart again for an engine re-build im powder coating it
  24. Decided to take my advice haha, well I guess I'll be the first and say... Brandon does some great work, he's a great guy to work with and will help you with anything you need. Anyone that needs help or wants mods done on there shee(porting, ture/weld crank etc.) should give him a call
  25. WHat is done to the bottom end as far as mods if any? It seems like a good deal, offer him 300, but if you think about it replacing all those bottom end parts will cost way more than 350 so I say go for it if you don't end up needing it or run across a better deal well then part it out andd you'll get your money back plus a little
