i dont think you have to balance it as long as you use a dial indicator when you set it up in the lathe .i did my own and had no problems with it

thanks for the advice guys im gonna get an impact and a new puller .idid get the broke one out though with a pipe wrench ,it wasnt easy .i did try hitting it with a hammer it wouldnt budge .i have to say them pullers are tuff as hell cause i put some serious torque on it before it broke.

if you have the same luck i just did you better buy 2 or maybe even 3 i havent made it that far yet. good luck
