  1. they are built in australia, and here they are called a holden monaro. was it a general question or did you wanna know something specific ?
  2. ok..... if the vitos are a cast piston, (i think they are) then you will have to bore the cylinders to fit the forged wiseco pistons in. forged pistons run greater clearances than cast. even if i were buying the same spec/brand piston, i would still get the bore and piston mic'ed up at a machine shop.
  3. motul 800 is good shit. dunno man, i feel that its not pulling anymore so i change gear, but if im on a climb and i need to stay in that gear, ill keep it pinned till im up that hill, or if im flat out il keep 6th pinned for ages. ( i do think, "dont blow up" )haha. you can usually just feel and hear it.
  4. yeh, as we were on about the serval i figured (421) was the size in mind. eek yeh i ment cheetah cub. (421)
  5. lockup is recommended, ill be running an under cover sling shot.
  6. from what ive seen. same parts on a serval and a cheetah, the cheetah will make a good 10-15 hp on top, without porting. 90hp from a cheetah is like a walk in the park for it, 90hp from a serval your going to have to try a bit harder. 100hp from a cheetah your going to have to do a lil bit of work, a serval it will be a stretch. the number 10 (as in 10hp) might not be a big number, but out of 100 (100hp) that is still 10% more. out of the box. a cheetah can go were a serval cant and a serval will have better down low/mid than a cheetah. even tho the two basic setups make similar power, one can do what the other cant. hence why there is two options if that makes any sense.
  7. splines are still worn.
  8. 23" -23 1/2 " slightly slack chain.
  9. oh did i say nude. i ment dune.......
  10. i just couldnt be bothered taking my fly wheel off to adjust the timing . custom ignition maps are nice too.
  11. i have his number..... 417 695 2124 let us know if hes still doing it.
  12. im using 20's for avgas, so id think you be around 22-23 to run on pump. but this is really the question for the builder you got your parts from. ive seen people run upto 24's on 421's for pump.
  13. get a 2 stroke helmet, no cams needed !
  14. haha man i just cant catch a break, i get a serval last month, get taxed hard at customs, these cylinders are now on special and now i found out the T5 is the worst pipe for it .
  15. haha, planes have to get off the ground aswell, people seem to forget that. and there is alot of engine load on take off. i pay $330 for 44gallons. race gas is in the few thousands for a 44.
  16. good shit indi !!!
  17. low lead = blue lead = green
  18. low lead usually. i run the high lead one because its all they sell here. but lead free ? havent heard of that one.
  19. detonation is when the air/fuel mix ignite from heat or compression instead of firing on time with the spark plug.
  20. banshee and lt both shit. what you want is one of these.
  21. $40 compared to $350 (+$100 for the link and software) take flywheel off to adjust timing or adjust with 2 switch's (and tune your own curve) nothing wrong with a dynatek, but do you really need it ? up to you if you want to spent $400 or $40
  22. just tight will do, but 8 ft/lb is where its at.
