How tall do the Dunes get at silver Lake, they don't look that big from the pictures I've seen.

Anyone know where to get a spark arrestor for a Banshee? I have an LRD exhaust.

Thats where I usually ride but I'm going to Michigan anyways so I thought I might as well haul the quads since I will be so close to those dunes, I may never make it back up there again but wanted to check them out. LS is great, almost no rules at all, as long as they get there $7 and you have a flag they are happy.

thanks for the info very helpful, what are the rules for kids on quads, do they really check for an ATV training course license for kids under 16. I have a 13, 10, and 7 years old. I seen on you tube that it looks like alot of people drive jeeps and truck out there, how would a stock jeep liberty do out there just cruising around. I'll be out there around July 17th, I'm renting a house for a week in Ludington. Also i'll probably be riding in the middle of the week not weekend, are they a little looser on the rules during the week? Thanks again I

Could somebody give me some info on Silver Lake in Michigan, I'm heading up from out of state this summer and want to make sure I got everything I need for getting in the park, I hear they are pretty strict there. Particularly what do I need to have to get an out of state quad in there if you don't have ATV sticker or your state doesn't give them out, will they let you in with just the park sticker. I know about needing flags, helmets, spark arrestors and park passes, and the db needs to be below 96. Thanks Guys

I have a LTZ 400 that has oneal handlebars that I want to trade out onto my Banshee. To do this the key switch will have to move or be bypassed. I would appreciate any comments on where you have put the key switch before or if you just bypass it altogether. thanks

I have LRD pipes and I use a 300 mains and UNI filter no box lid, The pilot should be fine.

I assume you are interested in the kit that Mod-Quad sells - The billet adapter so you can mount the K&N filter is made by Mod quad, I would put a prefilter on also and run with no lid. yes you will need to re-jet.

Sounds like an air leak to me.

My 1987 Manual says B8ES, my 2001 manual says BR8ES.

Walmart will do all 4 tires for like 20 bucks and it takes 15 minutes.

even with my caliper compressed I had to machine a little off of each pad to get them to fit.

190 main jet is way lean if you have pipes and K&N try a 290

I have these also and really like them.

I use a large rubber band like the ones to hold in trash bags and hook it around the frame, It stretches so its not in the way when I kick it. Of course the best thing is to rebuild it right.
