I got new brake pads and I am installing them, I compressed the cylinder down with a large c-clamp and took the lid off the master cylinder but I still can't get the cylinder to compress enough for the brake pads to fit and be able to get it over the disk, am I missing something?
Thanks
I would make sure the compression test was done correctly first with the correct fitting and a good tester and at wide open throttle. Then if it is still at 95 PSI, open it up.
I would do a compression test before I went any futher. The testers are $25.00 at harbor freight. Just take your plug out and screw in the tester and kick it hard at WOT. It seems strange he said it was rebuilt but not bored over at all. I would bore over to make sure I had clean cylinder walls.
I was thinking about checking out Appalachia Bay ORV area at Keystone lake near Tulsa this weekend. Anyone from Oklahoma ever been there before? Should I take my paddle tires, says it has sand but not sure how much. I'll be coming from Joplin so its about a 2hr drive. Is it worth the drive? I don't have time to go all the way to Wynoka but want to get out into the 70
I'll be there either March 13th or 20th not sure yet. There will probably be about 6-7 of us, 1 shee, 3 250r's, 1 quadzilla, 1 400 suzuki and one camp bitch on a 250 artic cat utility.
Anyone got a link to where to buy a good 13/41 o-ring chain and sprocket set. Only one I can find is on ebay and it looks like it may be a China chain so I'm not real confident of the quality.
Thanks,
Yeah thats was was cool about it, he kind of skipped over the cars and went straight to the banshee, he said a couple time about how it was carzy fast and a blast to ride it was or something along those lines.
