  1. Have you tried new plugs yet or re-gapping them. I had a similar prob this weekend and all I did to fix it was open up the gap on the plugs (after trying 75 other things that didn't work)
  2. do you have a good spark on both plugs? are you sure both cylinders are firing?
  3. How could you know you are running rich if you have never done a plug chop? I think you need a to try larger jet I'm running a 300 at 1000 feet and don't have nearly as many mods as you.
  4. thats what she said
  5. This is the best thread ever, keep em coming. Don't take it to hard kid we all have to learn sometime.
  6. I stand corrected even though like you say I am technically correct, thanks. No need for the ring numbers though I'll stick with Wiseco.
  7. please tell me your 12 years old so this will make sense to me.
  8. Once you bore your cylinder its no longer stock so a stock piston wouldn't work, so there is no point to this thread.

list all the mods to both bikes and lets start from there
  10. Yeah, your "supposed to have" a registration, flag, spark arrestor, and slow moving vehicle sign, but I've rode several times without them and never ran into a conservation agent but I've heard of people who have and If she see's you then your busted. If your going to ride your shee there better have a full skid plate. It's very rocky and hilly terain with some mud in the bottoms, you can go around most of the mud if you want to, definetly have your airbox on if you go. I usually just ride my Honda Foreman when I go there.

There are about 100 different things it could be but if you have a boost bottle and he doesn't that is most likely what it is.
  12. I live in Carthage now for about last 11 years, grew up in Neosho. Me and some guys from Joplin head down there a few times a year. We also ride Mark twain forrest in Cassville.
  13. x2 definetly go with a 13t front sprocket also
  14. Welcome Bob, nice to see some people close to my age on here and enjoying riding shee's. I'll be 36 next month and I ride at Little sahara also. My situation is almost the same as yours I get down there 2-3 time a year due to busy family life and it all just for fun and a good time with the cronies. As far as tires I have sand sharks with v-blades that are pretty cheap but skat traks are good also. Can't hardly beat Rocky Mountain ATV on prices and free shipping.
  15. Very true, If you are strapped for cash the shee is the way to go, I picked up mine for $900 with a extra set of paddle tires, rebuilt the top end and $400 buck later it rips. I love 2 strokes also but I have a 4 stroke and love the easy predictable power band. If I could only have one bike and money didn't matter it would be the 450 though.
  16. I seen a dealer today advertising $4799.00 for a new 450 and he had 2 of them on the floor. I almost couldn't belive it when I read it, makes me wish I had $4799.00 lying around.
  17. x2 I would recheck compression it sounds like you may not have done it correctley, try a second tester and hold the throttle wide open when you kick it several times.
  18. Well I'll cut you a little break now that I know your only 16 but come on, you can't argue with everyone in one post about how you know everything about what oil we should be using then in the next post ask us how to check oil and tighten a bolt. Your just asking for abuse.
  19. The manual says use SAE 10W-30
  20. Is this the same mechanic that helped you sync your carbs and isn't really a mechanic?
  21. were the OEM's lawyers sleeping on the job or something WTF.
  22. I think I will machine off about .08 off each pad tommorrow
