  3. I found this odd, what do you mean "ring feel off"?
  4. Title says it all I'm looking to trade my pwk 28's for a 2 into 1 setup, preferably a gradon intake with 35+ carb, throttle cable (for thumb throttle), etc... (air-box adapter if it's a trinity setup). Carbs currently have n86a needles, I have a few main/pilot jets, and a brand new thumb throttle cable (1 ride). Let me know if you interested. e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks, Matt
  5. Dual pwk 28's, floats set level, never have had an issue.
  6. I forget the brand name off hand, but I got it off of a member on here for a good deal.
  7. I'll have to check on that I'm not sure, I got my yfz450 hubs w/rotors, but i'll check tonight. Yeah that is what I'm running right now, i have no qualms with the banshee brakes just yet but i could use a little more whoa power. That's no fun, I've done it on bmx bikes before but never a quad, i can only imagine, at least your ok. good luck with your swap!
  8. that's right i remember you saying that when you mounted the 450r shocks.
  9. Stock Yfz450 tie rods will work when running the banshee spindles, but your tie rod ends will only be secured with a few threads, so it's not recommended. 13 5/8" length tie rod (not including the ends) is what you need with the yfz450 spindles. One thing that I noticed that was not noted is to run the yfz450 spindles you need the yfz450 hubs too. The stock banshee brake lines work fine as long as they are routed properly.

  18. If you get to the gates before 7:30-8 there are no rangers there to check. They drive through the camp grounds from time to time but I've never seen anyone of them get out and actually check bikes. When I first got my banshee i didn't have sparkys on it, so i would just park the back of my bike up against my truck. weekdays are the best time to go, no rangers and no crowds!
  19. As the title states, does anyone here ride at Gorman (Hungry Valley)? I think i've seen maybe 1 or 2 banshee's out there in the past 4 years, but I also only go there about once a month. I'm going for a 1/2 day trip with some friends that I'm meeting there on the 9th this month, it would be sweet if anyone from here came too.
  20. I just run the cobra sparkys, cheap and easy, 2 1/2" if i recall correctly
  21. I ran yamalube for a while, then i switched to Blendzall Ultra Black. Doesn't gum things up, smells great, and doesn't smoke a whole lot.
  22. I'll probably get the 5.6, how does the rad shroud mount with out haveing the stock gas tank cover in place? I just have a cr style kill switch so i guess i won't have a problem with a key switch, but i wonder if my bar pad will be a problem :ermm: oh yeah, how is the extra weight when your hitting a whoop section?
  23. I'm looking to purchase an ims tank soon and I just want to know if anyone here runs one. What issues should i be aware of before installing? I know i have to cut the plastics, but are there clearence issues with the bars? I already run a 2" riser. Thanks, Matt
  24. I must say this is one sexy beast. I've been following your build since you first posted it and i think you've done a badass job. How is your leg to pipe clearence, it's hard to tell in the photos.
