  1. Someone correct me if I am wrong, b/c I am not sure. Can you pull the actuator arm out of the top of the case and look down the hole at the tip of the rod to see if it is rounded like Belli is talking about? Might save you the trouble shooting on if it is stuck or not.
  2. V3 Reeds will bring the most out of your Port work. They do not do much on a stock jug, maybe a little better throttle response. Most good builders will port your bike according to what you already have or the set-up you will be running. This is so you get optimal performance out of your mods. They do not just cookie cutter it. Kevin from HJR, and Jeff from FAST are the ones you will hear about the most on here. I have dealt with both, and both are very trust worthy and great people to deal with. I got my Dune port from HJR, the difference in the motor is un-explainable. Night and Day. I have white knuckle syndrome in fear of dislocating my arms. I got his Dune port for around 300 plus shipping. Had it back to me in 2 weeks.
  3. If you want "bang for the buck".....bump the timing up to +4, and gear it for your type of riding. Me.....I would go with the Porting like GrM said as well as the +4. They all compliment each other
  4. Very clean and built right. This is one of those bikes you hate to see go. Just like Sean's Vader bike. Another great deal for someone!!
  5. If you were to pronounce LOL, it would sound like lawl. So people put lawl instead. Please dont ask why. I have no idea. lawl.
  6. You are right on with what I am describing. Also, it does not do it when I whip the back to the left. Only the right. No loud sounds, but def seems like it is coming out of gear, and then back in. The tires even show this b/c they start spinning as soon as it catches. I stopped riding when I noticed it. I tested it and did a donut to the left, slipslipslip And to the right.....all seems ok. I got size 7 kiddie feet and a PD shifter. Even with my boots on, it has never gotten in the way. I had my leg hiked up with my head in the motor driving around to see wtf was goin on and it was still doing it. No shift star all stock other than clutch and pancake.
  7. Well it is pretty loud when this happens, so I don't hear much of anything behind the motor. I did notice a winding/gear sound coming from behind the sprocket area when lugging around in second gear. But not grinding. Clutch is new (FAST), pancake, all seems to be adjusted. If i go on the street in a strait line, shifts and pulls hard. Only when I whip it around it slips.
  8. So this weekend got the bike out, everything seemed to run great. I noticed the transmission slipping randomly. It seemed to do it as I was wiping the back around to the right. Also on fast open strait aways. First I thought it was excessive wheel spin. After a while I could tell it would slip, and then catch gear. Other than that, shifting seems normal. It is a little harder to find neutral, takes more for foot force to move the shifter, not much (just more than normally.)
  9. Man this is a huge deal. 60+ pages in a few days. I will be busy for a weeks.....good shit
  10. All internets pages should lead to this link!!! Classic PHAIL!
  11. Welcome to the site. Your set up is pretty common, so I am sure someone will be able to get you very close. Here is a great thread I like to use. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361
  12. X2 on the ODI Rogue.......feel secure in any weather, very soft, and also nice looking.
  13. I smell some 35's in your neer future.
  14. Sweet, hope you get the bugs worked out. I can't wait to see new vids after it is all tuned.
  15. Are you sure it is coming from the carb, and not running down the tube from the petcock or tank? I dont see how it could get past the hose clamp. That thing is air tight on mine.
  16. Well that sale lasted 3.5 hours longer than I thought it would. What a great deal for somoene.
  17. I also had this problem with the wire clamps. I switched to small hose clamps and problem was solved. My 28PWKS came with what looks to be the same tubing.
  18. Stay up man. These things take time. I hope the nurses are hot at least......or the drugs are good enough that they appear that way.
  19. I like the way those colors pop against that black. Looks nice man. Before, During, After, (more pics comeing this weekend of the new carbs, and a few other parts)
  20. Like he said, if is stopping on the ring, you have to line the ring split up with the little pin on the piston and squeze it together. Easy to do with your finger tips one at a time.
  21. Welcome to HQ, nice bike.
  22. Some only use one for the reed/cyl side. I think stock only has the 2 as well. I use 4, 1 on each side of the reed.
  23. Thats still high. The black is a better deal than that. This is a good deal. I bet you can pick it up for 2K http://atlanta.craigslist.org/mcy/1165874949.html
  24. I agree. Would make it easy for the consumer as well. "If I want this pipe, I need these mods" However, people that do have that knowledge, are normally builders. That knowledge is what brings business. That is like asking someone to post a secret chili recipe.
