I think that is a kick ass idea. Go thru the top of the case into the clutch arm hole. You can go to FAST and get all the replacement parts. It ia all cheap. Add a pancake bearing, it will never happen again. Welcome to HQ

Here is something I posted helping anohter HQ'er. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...mp;hl=nickisgod You can take off the clutch cover, and then pressure plate and check it. In the middle of your clutch basket behind the plate, you will see the adjuster. The rod and ball set behind this. Here is where you will need to troubleshoot. 1, Make sure the bolt just did not back off. 2, Pull it out, and then use a magnet to pull the ball and rod out. 3, It can weld 3 ways. The ball and rod comes out welded to the adjuster (the lucky way). The ball comes out, but the rod wont (b/c it is mushroomed on the other end). Or you can not get shit to come out (the ball is stuck to the rod, and the rod is stuck inside). Lets hope that they all come out. Easy fixed, just replace it all and add a pancake bearing. If not, you have to flip the motor, split the case, lift the other end of the clutch shaft up (I dont know the tech name of this shaft), pull the mushroomed rod out the other end. PICS... Sounds like you welded the ball to the push rod. You have 4 parts to it. Clutch arm (sticks out the top of the case), rod (inside the shaft), ball (between the rod and adjuster), and adjuster (Looks like a weird washer with a nut on it that sticks out the pressure plate ) I think you

Well I got it off NYMC, and he did burn a hole in the top of his piston @ Glamis. I do not know the story, but just maybe this was the reason behind it. I wonder if they even thought of that? Wildcard Racing had a great idea that I set my plate @ 0, and check the timing. Then bump it up from that point. I had an even better idea and sell this thing to someone that does not have a timing plate or degree key or has the skills to check it against the plate. Better safe than sorry. I will go back to the stock CDI.

I run the ITP Baja like Savage. They are ok. The reinforced ring does get hung up on stuff in tight places. (edge of rocks, tree roots, ext....) But they are strong. I think Yamaha of Troy has the best deal for the Baja, 299 with tires. The Hypers are the best rim made for trails IMO.

I only play COD online. But I play Crysis, FEAR, other shooters like that. I run the AMD 64x2 5600, with the ATI 9800gtx 512mb.

I want to know if you can you use this with a timing plate set at +4? I know the rev limiter does not make a difference, but it says it raises the curve. I was not 100% if you can use it with the plate, or do you make your adjustment accordingly so you do not over advance it. Thanks, Gary

Mine went from 145ish on fresh built motor that was only started and warmed up, to 153ish after break in and 5 hours of riding.

I run my box on the trails, and pods with outerwears in the sand. I have the HJR dune port, but I have PWK's, so that does not help you any.

I would just start working your way down with the lid on. If taking the air lid off made it a little better but not great, sounds like you are rich to me.

What was it doing prior to this? Sometimes it will roll out on the floor when you pull the adjuster out and plate off.
