Did the bike run good before?Have you done any mods?Is this a bike you bought with a problem or did this recently happen?

Check for air leak with some carb spray...spray it around intake boot area while running and see if it idles higher,also spray around bottom base gasket on cylinder...did you do any mods lately?

To check for air leak you can also use carb spray around the intake boots,head,bottom of cylinders to see if it starts reving up higher.also look at a carb diagram for a stok set and find the air screw..turn it all the way in,then back it out 1in a half turns.do it to both sides.Sounds like you may have alot of carbon build up on the pistons as well,they will keep running even if you unplug the wires , there is to much carbon built up..good luck..JB

I run pvl ignition,Kill switch off ebay..I think it was from adrenaline atv...They work great..sorry no pics,frames at powder coaters..

For what ur doing sounds like you could do a dune play port and be fine...some stock carbs set up with the right jetting,coolhead and advance timing to+4,that bike will run real nice..On the longevity of the cylinder im not a 100% on the last bore...You can always find virgin cylinders from all the guys upgrading to cubs and cheetahs.If you wanna go bigger and faster just add a 4 mill crank have your port durations ported to accomidate your build and upgrade your carbs..Good luck,/JB
