ive been doing some research on the site and it seems like not to many people are fans of the rad valve...why? i just picked up a set (used) for cheap and they will be needing new reeds so i was wondering if it would be worth buying new reeds or not other than one bad reed they are mint, but if they are shit i wont spend the $80 on the new reeds for them...thanks

i stopped by his house tonight and this shee runs good, sounds badass. Andrew i dont think it needs jetting i just think you need to adjust your air screws as it runs perfect except right at idle, try turning up the idle to b/c it idles at really low rpm.

do those nerfs mount on the existing peg? and up front do they use clamps or do they bolt on to the motor mount...thanks

it can be done, my local engine builder can also bore carbs from stock (26mm) to 28mm. The guy that was going to do mine quoted me at $25 each dissasembled.

i just got some rad valves, i did a search and it doesnt really seem like anyone is a fan of them. They will need some new reeds and i was wondering if there worth buying new reeds or just stick with my stockers which already have boyseen reeds...also do i have to cut my intake boots to fit them...thanks

i just bought some boyseen rad valves and i noticed one of the reeds has 2 small cracks....its not the top carbon fiber reed its the bottom one...would i be safe running them or should i buy new reeds? thanks

wtf? mine are on the sprocket side to....i went down to the local yamaha dealer and there new 06 is the same way, i quess i will change mine to...lol

well i checked it out again tonight and when i sping the rear tires the sprocket hub moves a tiny bit up and a little bit to the left....im thinking either bent axle or bent hub

i fixed that but the fucker still does it.....i worked on it for like 1 1/2 hours tonight...i cant figure it out unless the front sprocket is shot and binding up the chain or something hell i have no idea

i just put in new carrier bearings. How would i go about checking all the mount points? I took off the rear sprocket to see if it was maybe out of round or something and it looks fine. I also took off the front sprocket and that looks fine to. The chain acts like it is binding up on the sprocket or something when i spin it. The output shaft looks perfect, i put a mark on the front sprocket and spun it a 1/2 turn at a time to see if maybe that was bent, i tryed this 4 times all in different spots and the chain didnt get tight. It has something to do with the rear end or something....i would say maybe the chain is stretched out or something but it did the same thing with my stock length chain.....could maybe the front sprocket do this?

i think the chain is fine. i know the output shaft is straight plus if it was the output shaft it would to it more than every 1/2 turn of the rear wheels....when i spin my rear tires my rear sprocket moves up and down a little bit....im getting pist lol so far ive checked.....output shaft, chain, put on new sprocket, and had the axle off and it looks straight....

well i posted a few weeks ago about this but nothing that anyone said fixed anything. The story is that my chain will be loose then if i turn my tires 1/2 turn the chain will be tight. I put on a different sprocket and it does the same thing. It looks like my sprocket hub is fine to...any ideas? it doesnt look like my axle is bent.
