  1. i just got my banshee runnin great again...it needed carbs cleaned..i put in new plugs fresh gas with klotz r50 oil new dipstick and all...she fires second kick but now has a slight noise in the engine only can be hered on idle...it was NEVER there i dont think or atleast i couldnt hear it it isnt loud but can hear it over the sound of the engine at idle i was thinking it might be a pistion pin bearing but not sure i fired it up and i couldnt hear it then it got worse then settled back down to what it is now let me know what you think thanks
  2. if it were me i would put those t-5's on i have fmf's on my banshee and i like them but have only hered that they are shit, i am looking for a set of t-5's for my shee, they sound a hell of a lot better in my opinion and if im correct t-6's are for stock porting and t-5s are for ported engines i would throw them on and see what happens
  3. do you know what clip you needle is on? try 3rd clip
  4. i am in west michigan as far as i know there isnt any porting it is about 25-32 degrees here as far as elevation i think im at sea level no more than 500ft above thanks
  5. it does start hard...probably 10 kicks....the plugs look like it is running rich but it was backfiring and poping out of the left silencer which makes me think the 25 pilot is a little lean it is about 28 degrees here and once your in the revs it runs good just low to mid is HORRIABLE i have to pull in the clutch and rev it to hell to make it go thanks for the reply

  7. hi i am in need of some help with my jetting im wondering if my jetting is anywhere near correct...i have fmf pipes, t.o.r.s eliminated, and k@n pods...my mains are 340's and my pilot is 25's also what clip should my needle's be on also do you read the dipstick for the gear oil threaded in or resting on the threads thanks
  8. i am wondering if my pilot jet is to small it is a 25 and my mains are 340 does this sound about right any sugestions would be good also what clip should be needle be on? my banshee has pipes, t.o.r.s elimanted, no airbox with k@n pods with outerwares thanks
  9. hi i am a new banshee owner as i just picked it up last friday i have been racing 2-strokes for about 6 years now and my dad has a rz 350 so i know a decent amount about 2-strokes but cant figure this one out....first off il list what it has just so you know...it has fmf fattys with fmf silencers, t.o.r.s eliminators, no airbox with k@n pods....ok when i picked it up i got it home checked the coolant and there wasnt much in there so i filled it and it hasnt leaked a bit, i checked the gear oil and there wasnt much in there i rode it for probably an hour with no problems it ran GREAT.....tonight i drained the gear oil and put some new belray gear saver in fired it up ran good untill i got out on the road then started running like crap...would barly idle and i would have the rev the piss out of it to make it go then it started it shoot flames and backfire out of the left silencer i pulled it into the garage and checked the gear oil and it looked low....i cleaned the carbs thinking maybe they were dirty....they were spotless now i cant even get the thing to hit not even with carb cleaner i think it is burning gear oil and diluting the gas so much that it isnt firing maybe a bad crankcase seal? any help would be great......for the records it is about 33 degrees out and my main jet is a 340 and my piolt is a 25 if that matters thanks alot
